  1. Hmmm, this one tastes like pastry dough. I'm sorry, but I'm holding out for biscuit dough! There's a difference(ish)!
  2. I'm feeling wonderful! I went to the ballet this evening and I've been walking on air ever since. Soooo beautiful!!
  3. I liked the Mario Party games, and played 1 thru 9 (I think). I also liked LOTR War in the North (despite its many glitches). As far as extensive hack and slay games go, that was one of my favorites.
  4. Clamato just sprung to mind. I like lots of sodas too, Pepsi 1893 (and its various flavors) to name one, SPIKE Energy to name another.
  5. I'd definitely read a story with this on the cover! It looks so epic and cool. I'd love to see the outcome of this battle. Cool art by the way.
  6. According to the poll mentioned by GrimGrimoire above, I'm a Cherry. It describes me thus: You are known for your creativity and your ability to express yourself through art and/or music. Nevertheless, you often find it hard to express your feelings to others. You're happy to socialize, but are happiest when you're at home and surrounded by the people you love. Personally I'd like to think of myself as an Avocado because they're my favorite fruit (yes, they are officially fruits). To me, they evoke the feeling of California on a fresh spring morning. That's what I'd like to be.
  7. I'm not a fan of the movie. I don't like Disney's politically skewed version of historical events beating me over the head, I thought the character design (especially for Pocahontas herself) was very unappealing, and the songs, while having nice melodies, have terrible lyrics that, at times, don't even follow the music. I'll give props to the animation, which was gorgeous, and I was very excited about seeing it when I was little, but I was very disappointed with the movie and never wanted to watch it again. This one is on a very short list of Disney movies I dislike.
  8. I think when they wrote this song they had very little understanding of what they were writing and just put in whatever they thought sounded 'cool'. Such is very often the case with Hollywood. Just like in Disney's Hercules, with the song 'The Gospel Truth' which is actually referring to mythical figures of 'gods' and not having anything to do with the Gospel. 'Thou shall have no other gods before me' is the first commandment, so it's a pretty inappropriate theme for a song with such a title. But since the song was sung in the 'Gospel style', I guess they thought that was clever and cool and gave it little more thought than that. Very controversial indeed.
  9. My dad is a college chemistry professor so I should have an inside track, but to be honest I have little grasp of the subject. I am interested in it to a degree, as I am with many subjects, but the problem is finding the time to apply myself to its learning. Necessity versus Resources (in my case, time) is always a losing battle I'm afraid. So, sorry dad, your daughter ain't exactly gonna be walkin' in your shoes!
  10. I think they simply didn't put Flutter's family in until late in the series because at that point in the show the writers were desperate for any new ideas that they thought might get the viewers excited. Speaking for myself, it didn't work. Flutter Brutter is probably my least favorite episode.
  11. If we're going to be watching The Starlight Glimmer Show My Little Pony into future seasons, it would be nice if they could get back some of Starlight's mischievous edge. She's got such great chemistry with Trixie because they both have some of that. She can still be reformed if that's what must be, but it would be more fun and original to give us the sense that she's still a little naughty under the surface, rather than just apologizing for living and making her into Twilight Jr. all the time (while forgetting the real Twilight exists). There's no point in making her a carbon copy of someone else when she's got the potential to be a cool and original addition to the show.
  12. Celestial Advice seemed pretty generic and uninspired, especially for a season premiere, but certainly not the worst of the series. All Bottled Up was a little better because of Trixie (she's Great and Powerful ya know!) And even though I liked her episode here I was just shaking my head at the fact that the Mane 6 were little more than fan service; just tossed in so nopony could accuse the writers of excluding the starts of the show on the premiere week. I know the Mane 6 have accomplished many goals (Twilight becoming Princess, Rainbow as a Wonderbolt, Rarity's boutique, etc.) but that doesn't mean they have no more stories to tell. It doesn't have to be earth-shattering to be fun and entertaining, or out of the question to focus on them rather than yet another Starlight episode. If it wasn't for the inclusion of Trixie and the Mane 6's add-on sequence (which was typically entertaining because they are the true stars of the show) there would be little to cheer about. I hope things pick up from here.
  13. Age is totally irrelevant! I mean, MLP was targeted toward young girls and look at the age (and gender) of most of the folks here (it ain't 6-10 year-old girls!) It's great to have you join us and I look forward to seeing you around the forums. Welcome!!
  14. I don't generally consider bees to be 'critters' but since that's an option I guess it applies to me. When I was a little younger, I was mowing the lawn for my parents (which was normally my brother's job) and I mowed right over the top of a bees' nest. It was just a hole in the ground so I didn't see it until they all came swarming out at me. I got stung a LOT. They got under my shirt, in my hair and got stuck all over my clothes. It was horrible. I ran inside so my dad could get them off me and the poor man got stung as well by the bees I brought inside with me. I felt pretty bad, but at least my brother, who is allergic to bee stings, chose the right moment to be someplace else. I also got surprised by a raccoon in a public restroom at a park once, but it didn't attack so that doesn't count.
  15. Most of the time I make my 2s pretty simple, but my writing and numbers vary a lot from one day to another (I'm fickle) and once in a while, when I'm feeling fancy, I'll go with the fancier parrot-type 2.
  16. Some Easter basket candy. I saved my favorites, the chocolate dipped marshmallow Peeps and Cadbury Creme Egg for last.
  17. Starbucks strawberry lemon sparkling green coffee energy drink. Wow, that's a long name for a drink!
  18. A few more years and who knows? It seems they were always working on some new technology that was more like science fiction than fact at the time. Foo fighters may have only been the beginning. If they'd had the chance to really let their imaginations run wild and bring it all to fruition, we'd probably be posting in German right now (but we'd probably have some cool tech as well!)
  19. Before coming here, I was on Equestria Forums for three years. I thought it was pretty good at the time, but after coming over here, there's no comparison. MLP Forums is way more active and I can find new threads in abundance almost every day. I briefly tried one or two others, but they didn't impress me as anything all that big; certainly not like it is here. This is the best I've found personally.
  20. Sure I would. And if I make sure my hands are warm and I do a good job, maybe I'll get on the fast track to some royal treatment of my own. Nothing like a little kissing up to the boss to get those perks!
