  1. A Quiet Place Part 2. It was okay; incredibly predictable but I can overlook that. It didn’t annoy me and that’s a pretty amazing thing these days. The first movie was a little more original. Ice Station Zebra (1968). I’ve always liked this movie. It has a good cast and an interesting story. Patrick McGoohan is at the top of his game in this one.
  2. Okay, I heard this was the most watched YT video ever, with almost 9 billion views, so I had to watch it and find out. And now, having watched it, I'm not sure what all the shouting is about. It's harmless enough, but 9 billion views?? Really???
  3. Far from it! Nightmarish would be more fitting.
  4. So far none of mine have been locked. It helps to have tolerant staff!
  5. I made an appointment to have the muffler replaced on my car and to get a tune-up, went to the bank and dropped by the Sheriff's office to get fingerprinted (don't worry, I'm not a perp. I just needed prints for a Concealed Carry application).
  6. Feeling very pregnant. Due pretty soon...like literally any time now.
  7. I used to unplug a few basic items during thunder storms, but now I have most of that stuff hooked up to power bars with surge protectors. So hopefully I’m good to go.
  8. I’d…check the pockets for any loose change. Hey, this person won’t be needing it anymore.
  9. I put a pair of chicken fryers in there for tomorrow.
  10. I'd love to try one of these Float Tanks. It sounds so relaxing.
  11. God, family, travel, art and I think chocolate fudge poptarts factor in there somewhere.
  12. February of 2019 I went to Walt Disney World. I posted about it here at the time, and I can’t believe that all this time later I still haven’t managed another vacation (I live for little else). I’ve had to cancel two so far and I still don’t know when I’ll get a chance.
  13. These days most people I know call me KayJay (from my first and middle initials), or The Glue. I often call myself Lady Katie Idiot, which fits me very well.
  14. My first language was baby talk, which eventually devolved into the English language I still speak today.
  15. To be honest I usually post status updates just before I sign out, so I seldom see if anyone replied until I return, which can be a week or more later. By then no one even remembers the update, including me, and it's no big deal.
  16. I had a birthday party for someone near and dear. It was fun.
  17. I’m usually very comfortable being naked. It feels very free and pleasant. I don’t do it very much anymore though; circumstances make it unadvisable.
  18. Yes I do! I want as many as possible. I love kids and I want to have a big family. I’m due this week so I’m going to get a crash course.
  19. The Coachman (Pinocchio). Now this guy enjoys being bad!
  20. Just Add Magic: Mystery City. This is a spinoff of Just Add Magic. I imagine it's because the original cast got too old to fit the tween demographic they were shooting for. Too bad they don't realize the people who were tweens watching that show are now older too, and want to continue following the original characters. Anyway, this new show is fine, if not as well cast as the original.
  21. I had a BK double cheeseburger and onion rings. I can't get enough ice cream lately. I don't usually like it but I could eat my own weight in some Creme Brulee ice cream right now. I'll be right back...
  22. I use a cheap black ink ballpoint pen. I don’t use the fancy kind because they run out of ink very quickly and charge an arm and a leg to refill. Cheap works just as good and I can get a dozen pens for the price of one fancy one. I use a #1 pencil for making notations on drawings or diagrams; it's dark but easy to erase. If I want to tag a restroom wall I'll go with a nice Sharpie chisel tip. And then there's always the classic flourescent spraypaint for the walls of those local businesses when they give me the wrong change.
  23. I’m 30 as of this last May. And I don’t feel a day over 29.
  24. I often hold things in even though I’m not good at concealing it if I have something on my mind. I try to keep it all to myself but the fact remains that hiding emotion isn’t always a good idea. It’s good to clear the air and talk about things that are getting you bogged down or stressed out. People often want to help but can’t do so if they don’t know what’s wrong. When I finally let it all out I usually go all the way and really blow out those mental cobwebs. It can be unpleasant to see but very cathartic. I don’t think it’s very healthy to bottle things up perpetually.
