@Lambdadelta True but I don't think they were written as well as they are now and I definitely like how the writing staff is treating them in the show now compared to s1 and s2.

@Kreamer I agree that the characters are easier to like post-season 3, but I feel they were funnier in seasons 1-2. That's probably our main difference of opinion - I would rather rewatch Rainbow Rocks or Friendship Games than fan-favourites like "Amending Fences." I don't particularly like the direction the mane six's characterization has taken following season 3. 

@AlexanderThrond Yep, definitely were we differ. I like the writing nowadays for the characters more than back when. Heck, I like the writing more than how it was back when, so definitely our main difference of opinion which highlights, I feel, why I disliked the movie and you liked it.
