    So is it just me who thinks Starlight Glimmer has become a lot less interesting this season? Kinda feels like she's retreading the same territory without much of a fun personality or even many remaining insecurities.

      Using magic for her problems is like an instinct for Starlight, you cant get rid of it anytime soon, Starlight is fun when she use her magic like Pinkie do 4th wall, the difference right now is whether her intention is good or just personal gain, they are different.

      Part of the issue is that I don't find her misuse of magic funny. I find it a slight bit disturbing.
