Y'know, I always figure I'd be displeased if MLP became more adventure-focused like some fans really want, especially given how much they seem to like season 6's bizarrely popular "Gauntlet of Fire," but come to think of it that'd probably mean more episodes like "Stranger Than Fan Fiction," which I am 100% fine with.

@Lambdadelta I feel like worldbuilding can be done in a non-adventure episode too, as the yak episodes have shown us, and I don't think the show does this worldbuilding very well all that often. I also worry that big adventure episodes will be impersonal and kinda shallow, but I guess I don't care as long as they're funny.

@AlexanderThrond At least, "big adventure episodes" look FUN, action-oriented stories can be shallow but they are entertaining, a dull slice of life episode is far worse than a shallow adventure episode, i prefer watching a 22-minuted action-packed episode with shitty story than a dull slice of life one, they may be both throwable but i will choose the better one to kill time.

@Lambdadelta Hypothetically, sure, but "The Cutie Re-Mark" is a shallow adventure episode and I find it kinda dull. I guess I prefer a "Gauntlet of Fire" to a "Buckball Season," though, and when done well, those adventure episodes can be really fun every once in a while.
