Have we all agreed yet that Legend of Everfree was a mistake?

@Kreamer I didn't really perceive it as that bad. It's not what I'd call "realistic," and it's occasionally annoying, but from my perspective it was believably petty, and it also seemed largely stoked by the Dazzlings' magic.
That must be where people are coming from when they consider Equestria Girls inferior to Friendship is Magic. To me, Rainbow Rocks is as good as a solid episode of the show, Friendship Games is as good as a somewhat messier episode, and the rest is no worse than the episodes of this show that I find least entertaining.
And I'm certainly not trying to convince you to change your opinion, but I don't really put the show on a high pedestal. I don't enjoy it with nearly enough consistency for that, even though I clearly like it enough to be here at all.

@AlexanderThrond I'd agree if it won't for the fact the dazzlings hadn't really affected the main six yet. Everyone else seemed effected while they seemed like the only ones who were still in their right mind. You could say they were stressed, yet I'd still argue they wouldn't go to those levels of pettiness. If that's what the writers wanted to show it would have been nice if there was a bit more of a progression from justified anger to pettiness because of stress. It felt like most of them were overreacting from the get-go.
And, yes, teens can be petty for sure, but rarely ever that petty. That's something you might see from a 5-6-year-old, not a teen. I'd rather teens be written as teens then being written like they are young children. I perceived it as dreadful writing for the main six. If they were younger, maybe, but as teens it's just ridiculous.
Again, we'll have to agree to disagree with that one. I didn't feel like it came anywhere near a good mlp episode. Though I respect your opinion.

@Kreamer I'm skimming through now, and I just don't think the mane six are that bad. All the bickering only starts around the 40-minute mark, and it seems more or less how I'd expect a somewhat less mature version of the characters I recognized from seasons 1-2 to act. And their concerns aren't exactly unreasonable.
