While I understand and can't really disprove the arguments of people who are upset that Celestia's power and importance hasn't been shown in any specific detail, I just don't feel it matters all that much. Part of it might be that I just like different things about that character, and part of it might be that the cartoon is so insistent that Celestia is so often defined entirely by power and wisdom that I can't see her in any other light. I'm mostly interested in the human aspects of her personality, so I take zero issue with her depiction in "A Royal Problem," aside from just wanting more of it. Kinda wish she had something special to distinguish herself from the other alicorns, though; she doesn't seem to have any "day magic" like Luna's dream-walking, and that's just a little weird.
