    The beach shorts were a bit of a misstep, but man, this Equestria Girls short series is quite possibly the most consistently I have enjoyed anything My Little Pony since I first got into this show. Maybe they're less substantial than seasons 4 or 6, but a disproportionate number of them have absolutely delighted me, and I swear 80% of my favourite My Little Pony songs since 2015 come from these. So good.
