  1. Had a discussion with a friend recently about the term "every-creature." I maintain that "creature" is apparently a neutral, perfectly inoffensive term in-universe, and I'm probably not going to be bothered by it in the future, but I guess I don't see why "everyone" wouldn't be just as good, and it would certainly be less ambiguous as to implication. Sometimes I do wish that fantasy stories would use more mundane terminology to make themselves more accessible.

      Yeah, I kinda just wish they'd switch to "everyone" and stuff too. I'm all for making things neutral and not leaving anyone out for these things but "everycreature" just seems unnecessary when there's a perfectly good word for it already

      I don't think it's offensive or anything, because ponies are clearly included in the term "creature," but I'll admit that it does often have a negative connotation in our world, which I'm certain was not intended by the writing team.
