I probably liked "Avengers: Infinity War" more than I should have. As I expected, it's pretty bloated, overstuffed, and fragmented, but I'm invested enough that a lot of the emotional beats worked for me, the action is fun, and there's plenty of funny moments sprinkled here and there. I really wish there was more of the human moments instead of endless fan service and fight scenes, but Thanos is a great villain, and this one is often shockingly dark and relatively unpredictable. Alas, I really hope the next one of these (not the one next year, the one after that) actually has a unique identity rather than just being part of the greater MCU blob; I've really liked how distinct the past several were.
