    I think the main reason why Twilight’s rise through the royal hierarchy still bothers me is that I don’t feel she ever controlled her destiny in the way her friends did theirs. Rainbow Dash worked hard to become a Wonderbolt, but Twilight was always going to rule Equestria - whether she wanted to or not.

      I choose to not acknowledge "princess" princess episodes of Season 9 in my headcanon.

      @Sparklefan1234 I genuinely like the last three episodes, even despite my anti-coronation bias, which makes them a whole lot harder for me to ignore.

       I'm not a big fan of Twilight's "Celestia" design. That's not my only gripe but it's the main one.
