As far as I recall, every single griffon, dragon, and changeling who has ever expressed an interest in the Magic of Friendship in this show has been either inspired by ponies, or inspired by someone who was inspired by ponies. Draw your own conclusions.

So season 8 is apparently gonna be "My Little Pony in the Trump Era." Gonna be interesting to see how the "keep politics out of it" people will react to that.

"School Daze" - Have many issues with the school concept, and some of the students are a little annoying, but I loved this. Just super charming, with a really great anti-racism, anti-authority message. Perhaps a tiny bit timely. I love how it's woven into the story in a way which isn't subtle, but doesn't need to be spelled out in a friendship letter, and doesn't warp the entire world around it either. Doesn't quite dig as deep into characters as the show's best episodes do, but the songs are great, and this is able to depict Twilight's teacher role in a way which feels sincere and personal to her. Lovely.

I'm not entirely sure why Equestria Girls continued past the one music video where we saw horse shampoo in Sunset's house, but I'm glad it did.

"Titanfall 2" - That campaign is a blast. Can't quite get a hang of the multiplayer yet. 

Last time Rarity and Rainbow Dash shared an episode, one literally invited the other to a fancy dinner. Underrated ship.
