      Mine's more of "Take my word with a grain of salt". I'm too dynamic/changeable to keep promises or say something with certainty, so it's nothing personal. :P

      And my lips also often speak of the darkness you describe...

    Last night I had a dream where I was in a desert of white sand at twilight, and a faceless girl materialized out of the sand. I asked who she was and she told me "I can be whoever you want me to be", so I thought about it and replied "I want you to be someone whom I can love". She then froze, dried up, and disintegrated into the wind, and I stood there staring at the lavender sky and rising, crescent moon alone...

      English. However, I think the grammar is fairly unnatural, and I don’t plan on creating a historical background or culture for the language since it’s just for personal use and experimentation. I created for it a special featural syllabary.

      I’ll attach recordings with some examples, but I don’t think this is one of my better languages. My goal was to create a personal language with a small phoneme inventory excluding labials and rounded vowels so it can be spoken with minimal outer mouth movement, possibly so I can mumble it to myself and not look like a lunatic. I also wanted to make the morphology to have special prefixes to distinguish parts of speech and to get rid of some ambiguities arising in more analytic languages like...
