I agree with your view of Starlight. Honestly, I think the main reason a bunch of fans don't like her is because the writers didn't smoothly transition her into the season. I personally feel like the writers kind of pushed her off to the side. I want more of her, so I believe this will be a very fun episode. One thing I know for a fact is that the mane 5 plue Twilight are going to be pissed when they fall out of her trance to discover they had been mind controlled by Starlight. I wonder where Spike will be in all of this. Maybe out with Twilight?

I think the mirror is what allows both worlds to communicate in the native language of that dimension. Now I want to point out that I believe the two world dimensions still have there own individual written languages. In the first Equestria Girls Twilight tries to sign her name on the ballot (with her pencil in her mouth) and Pinkie Pie "read" it saying she had really bad hand writing. When Sunset Shimmer pops in to look at it you can really tell how bad Twlight's handwriting was. Then Sunset Shimmer says "Where is this Twilight Sparkle." She was like the only one able to read it. I'm guessing because Twilight was writing it in the Equestrian language.

I hope they will have an episode that shows what the girls were up to while the guys had GUYS NIGHT!

I would say the changelings are more relatable to bees than ants. If you aren't familiar with the rankings of each, then look them up. It is actually pretty fascinating. But to answer the question, I'm going to say there are male and female changelings. That way they aren't be sexist. Just maybe they can't reproduce. The thing you got to remember that MLP is a kids show so I think the writers would want to avoid that question of how their characters reproduce at all costs. LOL! Queen Chrysalis I think is pretty much the mother of all the changelings. Though I'm guessing the raising of the changeling hatchlings would be shared among the older changelings, such as maybe a pair adopting a baby or two to raise as their own. But that is just a hunch. Do remember that Thorax said he was raised by an evil queen (aka his mom). A lot of these questions will be answered, I hope, with another episode or two dedicated to changelings.

Does anyone else agree that it as about time Spike be given wings? For heaven's sake, he has nearly fallen to his death numerous times now. LOL!

This episode has me loving Changelings even more. I can see Thorax and Spike becoming really close friends in the future. Hasbro I want to see more of Thorax!!! What I Liked About the Episode: - Spike the Brave and Glorious trying to go incognito - The secret hoof dance used to identify Twilight - The guards and their serious demeanor with a side of humor - Thorax mirroring Spike's movements - Thorax's forms: Spike, Crystal Hoof, and of course a rock (Not only can changelings turn into other ponies but they can become different species and inanimate objects) - Thorax's hissing (It's terrifying but cute all at once) - Spike's first music number (I would love to hear him sing more in the future) - The background behind Thorax's life - Twilight befriending the changeling after learning from Spike What We Learned About Changelings in This Episode: - Changelings CAN TALK!!! - They have emotions - They have long tongues - Can change into a pony, a different species, and inanimate objects - There is a changeling kingdom somewhere out there - They live similarly to that of a hive of bees - Changelings start out as eggs, then larva, and so on - Queen Chrysalis is the mother of the changelings (literally) - They feed on taking on the form of a loved pony/creature or off of the friendships they have with others (without changing) - They can sense strong levels of love What Questions I Still Have About Changelings: - Do changelings have mates and children? - Is Chrysalis the only changeling able to reproduce? --> The reproduction cycle of bees - Do the changelings social society act those those of a bee hive? - Are the growing stages of a changeling similar to bees? --> Development stages of a bee - Do changelings have a limit on how long they can take one form? - Can changelings have different colored bodies and hair? - Do changelings ever just eat "normal food"? - Must a changeling set eyes on a form they want to become before they can transform or can they create their own form?

The new episode was epic! Let me just say a few questions have finally been answered.

I think of Lightning Dust being kicked off the team as a temporary banishment. I can see her trying again to become a wonderbolt. Like Spitfire said, they are constantly looking out for the best flyers of Equestria and Lightning Dust is definitely one of them. I honestly hope Rainbow Dash doesn't have to convince her to change her ways. I am hoping that Lightning Dust already figured that out on her own.

This episode I have been waiting to see for a long time. I'm honestly surprised it has taken them so long to bring the Changelings back. Very little is known about them so I hope Thorax will be able to shine some light on Changelings and their ways. Maybe we'll finally get to see how similar the race is to insects. I'm almost positive that Chrysalis is going to show up in this season, hopefully for the season finale. All I ask is that they don't make Chrysalis become good. We already have enough villains like that. It would be cool if there was a split between the Changelings; those who followed Chrysalis and those who wanted to be friends with the ponies of Equestria.

I really liked the new character, Quibble. I wouldn't mind seeing him in another episode in the future. However, I do want to know what his natural hair color is. LOL! The episode was a fun one. I will definitely watch it again in the future.

I'm actually more excited about seeing/learning more about changelings considering our knowledge on them is very limited. Yes, I wouldn't mind seeing more Sunburst or Starlight (or both even) but I'm way more interested in knowing whom the changeling will be impersonating, if not more than one pony. If I were a changeling I would impersonate either one or more of the mane six if I wanted information right away. Or else I would impersonate one of the background ponies to be more casual about getting information.

Well they are ponies. The honestly don't even need a currency because they could just go scavenge for food and shelter. But since the show is for kids and friendship spreads all over equestria, I don't think poverty is a very big problem at the moment. Now if Celestia was very greedy then, yes there might be a lot of poverty.
