I used to be upset about the idea of losing my stuff, but not anymore.
The things that were really special to me, like my Lucky Jr. bow, ended up despawning. And at the end of the day, it's just cleaning out my inventory for me. I have many, MANY items that were just sitting in my chests, doing nothing. Like, what was I going to do with about 7 stacks of bone meal and about 4 stacks of lapis??
Also, I'm truly excited to be starting over. Thanks to the server, I've gotten a lot better at survival. Before, I wouldn't dare touch it. And I'm also excited to have new biomes, I'm sick of just deserts and plains.
What I'm most interested in is Seabreeze. I love it the way it is now, I bet it'll be awesome when it's rebuilt! (It IS being rebuilt, right?) But I feel bad for Flicker, since I bet they dedicated months to the original Seabreeze. Imagine how much time they're sacrificing for the rebuild...
So overall, I'm pretty much prepared. And excited!
I still feel bad for my animals, though. They don't know these are their final days before the update causes them to despawn and they end up in limbo.
