Call of Duty: MW3 is mainly different in the campaign (which is the most epic thing I've seen in a game in a loooong time), but the multiplayer has a few standout differences. For one thing, they have a new streak system where flag captures and other important objectives count towards streaking along with kills, as well as a whole new set of kill-streaks for defensive players that don't reset on death but don't give nearly as cool stuff.

Other than that, it's no massive improvement. However, Call of Duty: MW3 is only the 3rd game in the series to be produced by Infinity Ward, with Black Ops and World at War being developed by Treyarch and the rest before those by Activision.

I have played Halo 3, Wars, and Reach, and the first level of Halo 2. But i haven't played CE. So i'm thinking about getting that, but i have nopony else to play it with. That's where the thought of MW3 comes in, since so many on the forums have it, then i might play with them.
