MW3 indeed is an enhanced version of MW2. Just like Skyrim is an advanced version of Oblivion, Halo: Reach was an advanced version of other Halo games, Left 4 Dead 2 was an advanced Left 4 Dead, etc.

Sequels are meant to be enhancements, but with newer content, too. Re-makes are just enhancements (though I've heard Halo CEA has some new content, too). That being said, I'd still go for Halo CEA only if you're a fan of Halo already or just (somehow) haven't played a...

But is the multiplayer the same for both MW3 as every other game in the series or is there a huge change?

Skyrim had a huge change.

L4D2 was the 2nd in the series, MW3 is the 10th or something, I don't know.

Halo: Reach was the 4th in the series.

My biggest problem with Call of Duty is that they make a new game every year.
