Well, that was really nice of her.
I just woke up and I got a call from my sister. she asked me what I'd like for Christmas. I had a choice between the new Hyrule warriors or Super Mario 3D ALL Stars. Between the two, I picked Super Mario 3D All stars. ^^
I've played the original Hyrule Warriors for the Nintendo 3DS and there were a couple of moments where I wanted to smash the screen =P ...and I was 50 / 50 'bout getting Super Mario 3D all stars. here in Australia, it's $60 - $70 and I wanna save my money for something else.
*hint hint*

Now, I dont have to worry 'bout that, now that she's getting the game for me
HAHA!!! ^^ YES!!!
OHH I'm SO happy!!!
Now, I'll be able to play Super Mario 64 / Galaxy on the go

I've played SM64, SMS, and SMG on the original hardware. Each was a pretty good game, but my preferences are: SMG > SM64 > SMS.
I guess SM64 wasn't what I'd expected it to be when I first picked it up; I was expecting super mushrooms, fire flowers, that kind of thing---all the 2D Mario titles worked that way. What actually I got was punching and kicking, no powerups that stick with you from level to level, but overall a pretty good game.
SMS...it's a good game, but with all the water-spraying mechanics, it doesn't quite feel like a Mario game.
SMG was just plain all-around amazing. There were plenty of un-Mario-ish mechanics, but enough returning enemies and familiar game mechanics that it didn't bother me. Spinning was pretty Mario-ish, too, even if it was done with a power that was new to the Mario series.
