      Well I was thinking about giving him incredibly powerful fire magic comparable to that of Princess Celestia and he has the ability to fly just like starlight glimmer at the end of Season 5, buut I think that might be a bit of a mary sue right there if I do that :P <3

      ...buut as far as his origins goes, he was originally born in Appleloosa and his parents were killed in a raid when King Sombra invaded the town and he was taken in by princess Celestia as her "adopted" son.

      He was trained up in the ranks to fight against all possible means and he was personally raised by Princess Celestia herself.? As a result, he is athletically and mentally skilled in the art of combat. He can also use a multitude of weapons and he uses tactics in order to win his battles.
