  huh...that's weird I bet it has something to do with google shutting down G+...
  
  ...and I'm able to access Pony Town using my google account / youtube account...

  You can sign in using it, you just can't create a new account with it. I don't know why, and Ponytown is the only place I have seen having such an odd system.
