Man, 2020 is after my wallet XD seriously, I need to save my money, but Hasbro just keeps making figurines I want to buy.  They’ve just released these Transformers R.E.D (Robot Enhanced Design) figurines and at this point in time, I don’t know if they will be coming to Australia, but it is made by Hasbro and they’re gonna be similar to the star-wars black series figurines. Knowing this, they MAY come to Australia.  

The only down-side (…and I don’t really see it as much of a down-side, to be honest) is these figurines WONT transform. I know what you’re thinking: “what’s the point of buying a transformer if it doesn’t transform?” Well…most of the transformers you buy from your local retailer will ALWAYS have kibble no matter what and that's what ruins the design. With these, you don’t have to worry 'bout any kibble whatsoever 'cuz they don’t transform, and taking a look at these figurines, they look FAN-TASTIC.  The way I see it is these figurines are a poor-mans Takara Tomy Masterpiece figurine…and that’s a good thing. MOST of the figurines from the Masterpiece line-up are well above 3 digits and they’re REALLY hard to get. Heck, they even come with accessories and you can swap the hands:





I like how they’re doing this.  These are OBVIOUSLY for the collectors and they’re trying to make these look like the characters from the show. 

The Megatron they’ve just released looks like MP-36!!! O.O



If it DOES come to Australia, I’ll buy TWO of these!!!  :3 …and of course, these guys will have HEAPS of articulation, just like the main-line series figurines…and from what I’ve heard, they’re gonna be $20 american. That’s gonna be like $40 here in Australia. (That's IF they come here to Australia. *fingers crossed*)  That’s a pretty good deal if you ask me.  ^^ Obviously, you cant make a G1 Megatron that can turn into a gun. They just wont allow it.  (…and besides, my Siege Megatron is able to do that pretty well  =P) so…yeah. It’s NOW become a race between this and a couple of Black Series star-wars figurines I have in mind :3

EDIT: I just finished watching the Hasbro Pulse Fan Friday live-stream and we just got Soundwave. He looks FAN-TASTIC!!! O.O …and his chest compartment opens. Yep, I’m sold.  I’ll DEFINITELY be getting one of these!!! Honestly, they look like 3rd party masterpiece figurines  Megatron, Galvatron, Devastator and Soundwave will ALL benefit from this line :3
