Well, I've caught up with all the episodes I've missed so far.
^^ I gotta say, Pony Life is pretty entertaining. Not only that, they fixed some of the faults they had with FIM:
SpoilerTrixie seems to have learned her lesson (for now. honestly, the episode surprised me. I thought I was going to HATE the episode she was in. Thankfully, Pinkie interrupted her before she could say the whole line. You know which one I'm talking 'bout
) that she shouldn't show-boat all the time or she'll have no friends / she wont have any friends, Rainbow Dash is nowhere near as egotistical as she was in FIM, and Twilight is surprisingly competitive (normally, you'd think Applejack would be the one competing against RD, but no. If anything, she's the responsible one that keeps the gang together) / engaging (working alongside her friends to solve a problem) in this series, which comes off as a breath of fresh air.
Honestly, I didnt think I'd like Pony Life at all. Now, I'm binge-watching through all the episodes like I did with the earlier seasons of FIM.
AND I like how they're getting the message across to their younger viewers:
SpoilerSome good examples would be In Best Of The Worst where Rainbow Dash, despite being competitive learned as long as you had fun, you're the real winner even if you lost. It's all bout having fun. Another one would be A Camping We Will Go where Rarity came out of her comfort Zone in order to try out new things (that is a lesson I need to learn, tbh) Another one would be Rainbow Dash learning to take a chill pill / take her time in The Fluttershy Effect. If you rush, you aint gonna get the job done.
...and my favourite lesson comes from Dol-fin-ale. It's always best to tell the trust, even if it hurts. That goes without saying. As a matter of fact, that is my motto
What the mane 6 did was wrong, lying to fluttershy 'bout the meet and greet competition to see Finn-tastic and that she's too old to participate, but they did it for a good cause and that was to make fluttershy happy / they didnt want to dissapoint her.
No really, the messages they're trying to get across to their younger viewers is REALLY good and it reminds me of the 'Dear Princess Celestia' messages of old. THANK GOD they went back to the drawing board. I'd say Pony Life is the equivalent of the earlier seasons. It's just like Seasons 1 - 2, which is a REALLY good thing.
It's cute, funny and educational. Heck, it's got me binge-watching the hell out of the episodes. Would I buy a DVD of this? Heck yes. Would I make a Pony Life version of my OC?

I've grown to like the animation. it's cute and it has its own charm.
I think they all look pretty cute in that cartoon-network esque art-style. Like I said before, it's cute, funny, entertaining and educational. The show DEFINITELY has its moments ^^ it's DEFINITELY worth watching IMO. :3

Personally, I find Pony Life to be alright. I think they regressed the characters too much from FIM that it's off putting to watch them in Pony Life. That lie they told Fluttershy, that goes on for multiple episodes, is something they never would've done in FIM. Trixie apparently doesn't have any friends, but like what about Starlight, Discord, Thorax, and Sunburst? etc. They took out the school of friendship and that's where she was working, etc. Again, they removed alot to make this plot work.
I will say, I agree very much so with Rainbow Dash. In the later seasons of FIM the writers were just like forget all the growth she had let's just write her as a jerk cuz it's funny. So I definitely think seeing her be much more friendly and appreciative with her friends is great in Pony Life. I made a post about it before.
If I ignore the fact that they had to erase so many things to make some plots work. I still find the show to be too wild, the jokes don't hit, some episodes are boring to watch (like the cat one), ridiculous plots, etc. But I still really loved The Best of the Worst and How Applejack Got Her Hat Back. First one had a unique plot, fun and dynamic character interactions, funny jokes, satisfying moral. Second episode also had funny jokes and hints of deeper writing that really shone: Applejack talking out loud about whats the meaning of life without a hat. So yea the show's ok for me. Imma keep watching, but not necessarily enthusiastically. This dolphin plot line is over so hopefully better episodes are coming along.

I think one of the biggest offenders is Bad Thing No. 3 where Rarity loses her mind and she turns into a certain character from Lord Of The Rings. I think THAT was a little over the top. Then again, there are a couple of moments where the show is a little bit over the top
Hopefully, they'll tone it down a bit and they'll focus more on delivering the message across. Like I said before, the show has got its own charm .png ":)")
Yeah, I like what they've done with Rainbow Dash. THAT needed to be done. I think after the show ended, they were let off the leash and they could do whatever they wanted. I ALSO like the fact they DID not make her say 'awesome' in every single episode she makes an appearance in. I felt like THAT was overused. 
well, that and the fact that twilight had her mental break-downs in Seasons 6 - 9.
...and yeah, there were a couple of episodes that were a bit...meh. But...for the most part, the positives out-weigh the negatives The whole thing is a breath of fresh air in comparison to FIM. If anything, I'm still burned out from FIM and Pony Life is just what I needed. They took out A LOT of the things that annoyed me...
