Man, I got goosebumps watching this!!!
I really do hope they make this the darkest godzilla movie, ever. y'know, I was having a bit of a rant about shin godzilla and how it had the potential of being the darkest godzilla movie if they'd skipped all of the political mumbo jumbo and just had its 4th form right out of the gate and those 'things' coming out of his tail pop up throughout the movie, turning it into a zombie apocalypse. not only would it made it more interesting, but it also would've made it more terrifying. it wouldnt just be the threat of godzilla they'd have to deal with, but they'd also have to deal with those godzilla-human-xenomorph-hybrids, and the only way they can stop them is to stop godzilla, BUT that's just me nit-picking. I've always been a fan of the more darker and serious godzilla films. that's why I enjoy watching godzilla vs destroyah and godzilla 1984. I've said to before and I'll say it again, and I may be a lil biased when I say this, but I always prefer the japanese godzilla films over the monsterverse. ohh man, I cant wait for them to release a subbed version of this.

Well, I wasnt expecting this!!!

When I was taking a look at the kids channel, I noticed that Nickelodeon and Nick Jr has been removed from Foxtel. At first, I thought it was because some streaming service bought it out. (just like what happened to National Geographic and the Simpsons a couple of months ago. f*ck you Disney)
Turns out, channel 10 has bought the rights to broadcast it LIVE AND FREE. that's awesome. I think this is the first time that a free-TV network managed to buy the rights / buy something that was originally from a paid subscription. I didnt know that was possible, considering the viewer ratings on FreeView.
I have...mixed emotions about this. the bad news is I wont be able to record any of the stuff that is on there since it is NOT on a channel that is on foxtel. (it was previously on a channel called 10Shake. it's one of the many clones that they have on Australian television. It had a couple of cartoons that were originally on Nickelodeon)
the good news is once I've cleaned up my room and we get the Yaris, and we're able to find a Sony TV that is the same size as the one that my dad bough from Aldi all those years ago, I'll be able to watch it anytime I want. this is the news that I wanted to hear
I've been recently watching Nickelodeon just for the hell of it and there's a couple of cartoons that have caught my interest. as a matter of fact, I watch it more than Cartoon Network and Boomerang. I am starting to notice that Foxtel is starting to fall apart, and that is really disappointing. National Geographic is gone, The Simpsons is gone, apparently, MTV is gone and if you wanna watch the V8 Supercars, just create an account on Kayo instead of paying $50 a month. there might be a few rounds where they wont broadcast the sunday race, but at the very least, they'll broadcast the saturday race LIVE and you can just watch the highlights of the sunday race. there's also a couple of rounds they'll broadcast LIVE and FREE on 7, so yeah. there's that. UNLESS you wanna watch something like NASCAR, baseball, darts, Formula 1, Rugby A.K.A FAKE football or something like that, then yes. you need FOX SPORTS.
but yeah, back to Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. for the longest time, I have been complaining about the lack of entertainment on FreeView. the only thing that is on there is re-runs and ads, ads and more ads. there is nothing new. that is what has ultimately put me off from watching FreeView altogether. (especially the adverts. at this point, I dont even know why they exist) Prior to this, I was hesitant about clearing up some space in my room so I can make room for a flat-screen TV. the only other channels on FreeView that I watch are 9GO!, ABCME, 7mate, SBS and all of their counterparts. that's it.
9GO! broadcasts cartoons in the early hours of the morning. they used to broadcast cartoons in the afternoon, but they've stopped doing that, unfortunately. sometimes, they'll put a Pokemon movie on the weekend, just for the heck of it. it's mostly re-runs of the pokemon anime and stuff I've seen on foxtel. not really much to see other than maybe care bears and the latest version of the yu-gi-oh anime. there's also that 9Rush channel that just recently opened up that's got A LOT of automotive related stuff on it. might be worth checking it out every once in a while.
ABCME has A LOT of...'average' cartoons on there. most of 'em I've never heard of. what's cool is they do broadcast anime on friday nights and between 12PM - 2PM on the saturday. I like watching anime, but the stuff they're broadcasting is not something I'd be interested in.
7mate has some funny junk on there sometimes, like Hardcore Pawn, Housos and on rare occasions, Tattoo master, and the occasional movie every once in a while (they only recently started doing this).
SBS is probably the one that I watch the most. it's got A LOT of interesting stuff on there, mainly documentaries and some really colorful movies on there such as Asterix and Obelix, Kung Fu Hustle, some Bruce Lee movies if you're lucky, some martial arts movies and a lot of underrated films.
Bottom line is, I just want a channel on FreeView that only broadcasts cartoons 24-7. I might be a grown man, but I'm still a kid at heart and I'd rather watch cartoons than any of the junk that people watch nowadays.
EDIT: okay, taking a look at the Freeview TV guide online...yeah. it's been hit hard. Idk whether or not they'll make some significant changes, but before Nick was removed from Foxtel, it had stuff like Baby Shark from 2:30PM to 3:30PM, The MiddleMost Post (when they were broadcasting new episodes) from 1:30PM to 2PM), The Loud House from 12:10PM to 2PM, and again at 4:15PM to 5PM, The Casagrande's from 11:10AM to 12:10PM, and the two of them from 7:30PM to 8:30PM, and in the early hours of the morning from 3:25AM to 4:25AM. now, it's been significantly reduced. Baby Shark at 8:30AM, one episode of MiddleMost Post at 2:30PM and one episode of The Casagrande's at 4:15PM. it's not until you get to the weekend where you get double episodes of The Loud House and The Casagrande's between 12PM to 2PM. It is a bit of a bitter pill to swallow, but hey. At least I can watch it in my room. that's a plus ^^ I just hope it stays on FreeView, and NO greedy, corporate streaming service gets their hands on it.

Y’know, it’s really difficult to find any kind of Zipp Storm merch, or any G5 merch for that matter.
I have been recently out and about, looking through the toy section and most of the toys that are on the wiki…are unavailable. I’d like to get a simple, 3.75 inch figure of Zipp or even a funko pop, but…it seems they’re either sold out or they haven’t made one…yet. I don’t know whether it’s because G5 is not as popular as FIM (I will admit: the plot for generation 5 is all over the place, especially for new-comers. You start off with the movie, then a number of episodes of tell your tale, then a special, a couple of episodes after that, ANOTHER special, etc. I hope the MLP wiki makes an update so it makes it easier for them to keep up with the plot) or the simple fact that they’ve never brought it to Australia (I wanted to get a Guardians Of Harmony Discord statue back in the day in order to complete the set, but it never came to Australia…for some reason), but I’d really like to get hands on a Zipp figure / plushie.

Y'know, there's a part of me that wants the fandom to make a fan-made MLP game based on generation 5. at this point, they've shown off a lot of different places and me personally, I'd really like it if it was an MMO similar to Legends Of Equestria. as far as MLP fan-made MLP games based on generation 5 is concerned, I havent seen any of em made for the time being. it is something I'd really like to see in the future :O what do you guys think? I know that we recently got an MLP G5 game for the switch. the gameplay was rather simple. for those of you who dont know, this is the part of the fandom that got me into My Little Pony. well, besides the show and fan-made youtube clips, of course.
just to kill two birds with one stone and so I dont have to make another post, I am happy that the ford mustangs are getting an aerodynamic upgrade in the next round of the V8 Supercars Championship. well, it's about time. So far, chevrolet has won every single race this year and the fords have been struggling. y'know, I think it's kinda funny how we're on the right end of the schtick. in 2019, the ford teams were on the receiving end when it comes to parity. they made the wing smaller and added a NASCAR lip spoiler to the back of the ZB commodores. now, we've got that on the gen 3 mustangs :O
they've also added a SLIGHTLY bigger lip spoiler and different wing plates.
I've been doing some comparisons with the old spoiler and...yep, I can see the changes they've made. I really hope this serves them well from this point onwards. Chaz Mostert is the ONLY Ford that is in the hunt for the championship and he's had to fight for it. HOPEFULLY, Ford can get their first win of the season. At the time I'm posting this, he is 179 points away from the championship lead and 69 points behind Van Gisbergen. I really, REALLY hope he gets ahead of that d*ck-head and puts him down to 5th in the championship. Speaking of Chaz Mostert, he WON the 24 hours of Spa in his class / in PRO-AM last weekend ON DEBUT. that is pretty impressive!!! well done mate!!!

but yeah, that's the reason why I haven't been posting that much V8 Supercars content. it's been a bit of a dry spell for the blue oval. well, that and the fact that it's not exactly relevant, but hey. this is something that interests me and I know there is multiple other users that like to talk about other different sports that interest them. =P I know there's one that likes to talk about F1 and posts the results of the race. :3

WINNAH!!! Anton De Pasquale has won race 17 of the V8 Supercars championship. this is ALSO the first win for the gen 3 mustang. well, it's bout time. I was a lil confused when he pitted on lap 15. considering this was an 88 lap race, that was WAY too early, but he had genuine car pace and he made it work. when the safety car came out for debris on the race-track, I thought this was gonna hurt him. it didnt. overall, he had a really good car and he managed to make the tyres live. I remember Chaz Mostert in the previous race, saying the mustang is not very good on its tyres, and yet, somehow, shell-v-power managed to make it work. I'm REALLY happy for Anton. Idk if the new aero package played a role. that is something we'll need to see in the next couple of races.

It was pretty disappointing to see Mostert get a DNF, but then again, he was the one who rubbed the wall in the top 10 shootout. they had to do a speedy repair, and unfortunately, he was only able to go around for a couple of laps before he had to bring it back into the pits. Now, he is now OUT of contention for the championship, which is really sad, cuz he was Ford's last hope to win the championship, and he made a simple mistake. if he did not rub the wall, he could've easily finished in the top 5. he had a really strong car. :O In yesterday's race, he finished on the podium. Oh well, it is what it is. I'm sure he'll bounce back. one way or another. I still say he's got the strongest mustang in the field. if anything, he's the only one in the ford camp that's got consistency

Another thing to take out of this weekend was the amount of abuse SVG got from everyone: in race 16 A.K.A race 1 of the townsville 500, he got shoved out wide in the opening lap thanks to will brown and on the safety car restart, Mostert FORCED his way down the inside and got past him. today, he qualified in last place because he screwed up on the last corner and at the start of the race, declan fraser pit maneuvered him. I'm glad that prick got a taste of his own medicine and I'm glad he did not win the race. there are a lot of rumours / speculation that he might go to NASCAR at the end of 2024. I hope he does. I f*cking HATE him SO much.

I dont think it'll beat hard rock hallelujah from 2006 or dark side from 2021, but we certainly need more metal bands / rock concerts in eurovision. just saying.

yeah, sweden just kept on racking up points and the song wasnt even that good tbh. okay, I was disappointed that we didnt finish inside the top 5 but...man, I feel sorry for germany. D: they didnt deserve to finish dead last. IMO, it was HEAPS better than A LOT of the entries this year. they deserved better. eurovision NEEDS more rock concerts / metal bands D:

okay, so we finished in the top 10 in 9th. we deserved better. I feel as if we got robbed by the fan votes. was expecting 200 - 300 points, but instead, we got 20 something extra points. before the fan votes, we were sitting in 6th place. we should've been at least in the top 5. very disappointed with the result.

I just wanna say that no matter how old I get, I'll always be a kid at heart.
heck, when I start living by myself, the only thing I'll be watching is kids cartoons (I mean, that's how I got into My Little Pony in the first place) and anime...and action movies from time to time, to balance things out. I never, ever wanna lose my childhood innocence. it's pretty much the only thing that keeps me positive. well, that and the friends that I have on here. I just wanna say that I love each and every one of you and I appreciate all of the reactions / comments in my status updates. for too long, I've had negative emotions. it's bout time that I cast them aside and try to look at the positive side of things ^^
So, you're probably wondering: what has got me in such a good mood? well...if you really wanna know the answer, a couple of days ago, hasbro pulse had a transformers live-stream showing their latest products and one of those toys that was revealed was none other than...Armada Megatron.
while my memory of the cartoon was extremely vauge (the only things I remember was Optimus had a super mode and starscream defected to the autobots because he was sick and tired of being pushed around by the decepticons), the toys were a BIG part of my childhood. I remember my Neighbour had the entire collection and I was SO jealous. I f*cking LOVE the transformers armada toy line up and I may be a lil biased saying this, but this was the best toy line up they ever made. you can combine certain transformers to make them even bigger and I just LOVE how the mini-cons would turn into weapons and unlock secret modes that some of the figures had. it was like an added bonus

whenever I take a look at some of these toys, I immediately feel like a kid again, and this is a toy that I HAVE to get. 20 or so years ago, I was unable to get most of these toys because I was a kid and most of them were quite expensive. now, this is my opportunity to get modern versions of the toys that I grew up with. Oh, and I've been watching a bunch of cartoons. hehehe.
...and I'm happy to say I'm back from my very long hiatus ^w^ so yeah, if you know of any good cartoons, please let me know

@Rikifive well, Disney wanted EVERYTHING on Disney +, and apparently, national geographic was owned by Disney. first, they took away Disney XD back in 2017 / 2018, they've destroyed multiple franchises (Star Wars, marvel and even their own franchise thanks to identity politics and poor decision making / not respecting the fans) just so they can make money, and now this. (not only that, they've taken away the simpsons) I remember all those years ago when they announced they've bought the rights to lucas film. at the time, there was a lot of people who gave this a chance.
I didnt. I knew this was gonna be a shit-show. Star Wars is supposed to be dark and serious. the only thing Disney is good at is making children's cartoons. that's it. I never grew up watching any of the classic disney films, so I never had any attachment to the franchise, but now...I know exactly how the star wars fans feel bout disney.

yeah, I dunno why these shows even exist. the last time I watched anything that was made by disney was kim possible back in the mid-late 2000s, and that was back when they had saturday disney at 9 o clock. man, those were the days. I feel like it has to do with modern censorship and all of the soccer mums. that's why everything is so watered down these days, especially if you take a look at all of the remakes. not only that, I feel like everyone is playing it safe. nobody wants to try to make something new, and that's what I hate bout cartoons / tv shows / movies these days.

I JUST CAUGHT A SHINY IRON THORNS (future form Tyranitar) WITH AN ADAMANT NATURE!!!!!! ^w^ LET'S GO!!!!!!
...and I literally found it in 3 mins using the '10 min strat' I came up with a couple of hours ago. to me, this thing is the holy grail. FINALLY!!!!!! I got MECHAGODZILLA in Pokemon Violet!!!!!!
so, for those of you who are shiny hunting in Scarlet and Violet without the shiny charm, lemme give you a tip:
create your shiny hunting sandwich (you dont have to use salty herba mystica. Heck, I used a spicy herba mystica and a bitter herba mystica to get this) and shiny hunt the pokemon you're after for 10 mins.
if the pokemon does not appear within 10 mins, chances are, it wont appear within the remaining 20 minutes. if you dont find a shiny within 10 mins, simply reset and try again. the way I see it is that the game pre-calculates whether or not you'll get a shiny + this saves you 20 mins from disappointment. to give you an idea of how effective it is, I managed to find 3 shiny thorns within half an hour using this method. yeah, it's pretty effective. prior to this strat, these things would not want to appear. this is a MUCH faster method at shiny hunting for those who do not have the shiny charm, like me. if you want to get one with a specific nature, I highly recommend using this strat. ^^

...and I just caught TWO more shiny salazzle. 90 seconds after I caught the first and 10 mins after I caught the 2nd one, AND THE 3RD ONE HAS A TIMID NATURE!!! WHAT THE F*CK IS GOING ON!?!? THE LUCK!!!!!! O_O if this is supposed to be the LAST shiny of January, what a send-off!!!!!!

so, for those of you who are shiny hunting in Scarlet and Violet without the shiny charm, lemme give you a tip:
create your shiny hunting sandwich (you dont have to use salty herba mystica. Heck, I used a spicy herba mystica and a bitter herba mystica to get this) and shiny hunt the pokemon you're after for 10 mins.
if the pokemon does not appear within 10 mins, chances are, it wont appear within the remaining 20 minutes. if you dont find a shiny within 10 mins, simply reset and try again. the way I see it is that the game pre-calculates whether or not you'll get a shiny + this saves you 20 mins from disappointment. to give you an idea of how effective it is, I managed to find 3 shiny thorns within half an hour using this method. yeah, it's pretty effective. prior to this strat, these things would not want to appear. this is a MUCH faster method at shiny hunting for those who do not have the shiny charm, like me. if you want to get one with a specific nature, I highly recommend using this strat. ^^

bout an hour ago, I just caught a shiny espeon with Modest nature in less than a minute ^w^ and it's got a mark. normally, I dont pay attetion to these, but my one was got something special: the early riser mark. Idk bout you, but that is the PERFECT mark for espeon considering that you can only evolve it in the day-time. this shiny is the first shiny to have a mark, the first shiny eeveelution I've caught, the 10th perfect shiny I've got and possibly the last shiny of January ^^

I JUST CAUGHT A SHINY IRON THORNS (future form Tyranitar) WITH AN ADAMANT NATURE!!!!!! ^w^ LET'S GO!!!!!!
...and I literally found it in 3 mins using the '10 min strat' I came up with a couple of hours ago. to me, this thing is the holy grail. FINALLY!!!!!! I got MECHAGODZILLA in Pokemon Violet!!!!!!

...and I just caught a shiny sandyghast with a bold nature, which is the best nature for it ^w^ LETS GO!!!!!!
...and I found it in 5 mins!!!
I cant believe it. I got a PERFECT shiny Sandyghast on the very first try in 5 mins!!! :O I thought I'd be here for a lot longer, but no. Ohh man, I'm SO freaking happy!!!
