I'm gonna be perfectly honest here: A LOT of the classic cartoons are getting digitized these days and they're NOWHERE NEAR as good as the originals. Inspector Gadget and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are some good examples of this. I hope this is NOT the 'art-style' they're going for.
More to the point, which art style do YOU prefer?

Well, you don't have to worry. It'll be neither. No company is gonna keep using the movie animation, especially when they'll intend to do a long running show again that they'll have to keep up with. Even nowdays, they have to cut corners on animation to put it out, so they're not gonna do anything as costly as that.
And that... "animated" short is rather shockingly jerky. That's pretty terribly done. Like, straight out of an computer animation class... That's so clearly points on a program that you're pulling apart into way too exaggerated movements for even Pinkie. There's no way they would consider that, even if it was to keep under budget.

Well, that was a nice way to celebrate Fathers Day.
Me, my mum and my dad went to a 'all you can eat' buffet and we had dinner together. I had some fried rice, some chicken nuggets, some chicken Caesar salad, some fruit and some chocolate. 
Man, I tell ya: when you go to one of these 'All you can eat' buffets, you wanna eat everything that's there, but after 2 - 3 plates, you can't.
...and in case you're wondering what Fathers Day is, well...it's to celebrate all the good things your father has done for you. Personally, I think it's just a marketing gimmick (there's NO real significance to this day), but hey. I love my dad and I care about him

The day for this varies a LOT worldwide (the UK celebrates it in march, for example) and the "why" also therefore varies - In some places, it is to celebrate a specific father, in others, for "equality" to Mother's Day, and in many, largely a commerical thing (aka a "hallmark holiday")
But regardless - many of us don't show enough appreciation of the sacrifices our parents made or make for us, so showing them they ARE appreciated is not a bad thing

Well, it's officially the first day of Spring here in Australia and it's only goin to get warmer ^^
I will say this tho: this has to be THE warmest winter we've had in years 
It has been unusually warm (with temperatures going up as high as 19 - 23 degrees celcius), which straight up tells me Summer is gonna be HOT!!! Like I said before, I prefer Summer over Winter any-day of the week. 
As some-pony who lives in the tropics, I cant stand the cold 
Also, my birthday is in a couple of weeks time. (September 13th) I can't wait for that!!!

I just came back from the store and I got one of these bad-boys!!!

It was really high up on the shelf and the store clerk was kind enough to let me inspect all of the ones that were available. I got the one that had the least amount of defects. One had a bent sword (which is NEVER a good sign)
and the other one had noticeable defects / chips in the paint...
I still can't believe they made a FREAKING Alucard POP Figurine!!!
This will go nicely with my Richter Amiibo when it comes out

Well, that's interesting.
The Nintendo Switch Lite is about the same size as the current Nintendo 3DS XL (minus the joy-cons) That's good to know. Now, I know what to expect

@SolarFlare13 I was skeptical of the Switch Lite at first, but now I realize that it's meant to be a dedicated portable Switch like the 3DS!
It's interesting but I'm saving my money for the other Switch model coming next month!

(Yeah, I was talking about Legends Of Equestria, which is a pony MMO based on MLP: FIM. It's pretty much dead at the moment. No-pony plays that game anymore now that the show is coming to an end)

Okay, this one is for the Pokemon fans: who is your favourite evil organisation and who would you join?
@Widdershins, @Odyssey, @Dynamo Pad, @Dynamo Pad and any-pony else who is a Pokemon fan.
If I had to pick, I'd join Team Magma. Unlike most of the other teams, their plot is beneficial to man-kind. They want to create more land for humans and Pokemon. If they can make it 50% land and 50% water (instead of 70% water and 30% land), then they'd be doing the world a service

Well, I require two things in an evil team. A big bad mastermind that's leagues above the rest of the team who's actually competent... but still a part of the team's goals. Unlike Giovanni who was so brilliant that he was almost entirely separate from Rocket so he couldn't actually be directly held culpable for any evildoing.
And secondly, a group of thugs who are there mostly because they had no where else to go. That's why I love Team Skull, they're not so evil, just a big family!

Good ol' Team Rocket for me. They don't need to be super silly or hungry for world domination, all they are is a Yakuza organisation doing what they're doing. Plus they got cool outfits, and Jessie, James and Meowth are the only great Pokemon characters in the anime, lol.
When it comes to villanous teams, I like some of the Bosses a lot. Giovanni is charismatic, Archie in ORAS is surprisingly sympathetic despite his dumb goals, N is a complex guy, and Colress might as well be my favourite human Pokemon character, hands down. Even bosses that could've been a lot better like Cyrus, Lusamine and Lysandre had a lot of potential. Unpopular opinion though: I don't like Guzma! ^^;

You know, for a game that's more than 20 years old, I'm having A LOT of fun playing Pokemon Red.
In my book, it's WAY better than Gen 5 and gen 7...
(The pacing feels A LOT faster than the new games, which is something I like. Normally, I'd have to worry about the natures / EV's / IV's / abilities and it's SUCH a PAIN in the arse.)
Unlike the newer generations, I don't feel as if I'm over-levelling my Pokemon (which is something I do QUITE often in the newer Pokemon games)
. The Gym Leaders are on par with my strongest Pokemon (for example: Brock's Onix Lv. 14 VS My Squirtle Lv. 14 or Misty's Starmie Lv. 21 VS My Pikachu Lv. 23) and I even have to come with strategies just so I could beat the gym leader. I just beat Misty not too long ago and I was wondering how the hell am I supposed to beat her Starmie. I came up with the strategy of using Thunder Wave on her Starmie to disable as QUICKLY as possible and then send in my Wartortle (to tank the water type moves), use tail whip on it several times (to lower its defense) and knock it out / 3 hit KO it with a tackle.
See!? this is what gym leaders are supposed to be: they're supposed to be HARD to beat. I'm sorry, but the newer games just don't have the same amount of difficulty as some of the older Pokemon games. Gen 4 was THE last Pokemon to offer a challenge and I loved it
As an old fella, THIS is what I want!
I hope Pokemon Sword and Shield offers a decent challenge

Nidoking Lv. 23 (yes, I do have one of those on my team XD)

Ohh man, I cant wait for the Suzuka 10 Hours. ^^
I did some research on the event and it used to be the holy grail of the Super GT. Now, it's become the crown jewel of the Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia Series. (It only became a GT3 event last year.) It's GT3 VS GT300. Europe VS Japan. A total of 13 manufacturers (Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, Nissan, BMW, Bentley, Honda, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Chevrolet, Lotus and McLaren) will be participating at this event. Who do YOU think is going to win?
As for me, I’ll be going for Bentley, Mercedes, McLaren and Porsche >:3

Ohh man, I saw THE coolest thing in-store today. I went to my local hobby-store and they had a Trevor Belmont POP! Figurine!!!
I can't believe they were actually selling these!!! 
I thought this was NEVER coming to Australia. The ONLY reason WHY I didn't get it was because it was $20 and the two of them had defects. REALLY...bad...ones
...and I already placed my pre-order for a Richter Amiibo.
I've just been taking a look at ALL the Castlevania Pop figurines on Google Images and if I EVER saw this POP! figurine in-stock, I would buy it in a heart-beat. F*CK. YES.

The Funko vinyl ponies look amazing in pictures – I prefer the show-style ones to the Pop vinyls.
But as I said, I've heard there can be pretty bad defects on some of them. I'd have to order them online anyway, as no store near me sells any of them (and they don't seem to even manufacture them anymore). Considering how much that would cost, I'd want to be getting ones with no significant flaws.

...but that's how products are nowadays. The best you can do is find one with the LEAST amount of defects, which I WHY I take a GOOD look at the product BEFORE buying it I wish I bought this POP! Figurine

I got into the series recently. I've just finished watching the Castlevania anime (which is AMAZING btw)
and I beat Ponyvania a couple of months ago. (which is an MLP / Castlevania cross-over)

This may surprise you, but I’ve never done a play-through of the first generation of Pokemon…and there’s a VERY good reason WHY.
Y’see, I was too young to have my own hand-held console / game boy back in the late 90's / early 2000's, so I could only watch the Pokemon anime and play Pokemon Stadium on the Nintendo 64. Fortunately, I was allowed to play on my sisters game-boy and from what I can remember, she had A TON of hacked Pokemon on her save file. Heck, she even had a Missingno on her party. My memory is a little hazy, but everytime I beat the Pokemon League and I entered the Hall Of Fame, it would show Missingno as one of the Pokemon in my party. Really, the only thing I could do on her save file was beat the elite 4 over and over again. That’s it. Oh, and I used to spam THE HELL out of Psychic!!! XD ...and the ONLY 2 Pokemon I used to beat the Elite 4 was Kadabra and Mewtwo X3
Something DID happen to her save file and it WASN’T my fault.
I was playing Pokemon Red on the way to the pet shop and when we got there, I was saving the game. You’re not gonna believe what happened next: as it said “saving…don’t turn off the power…”, the battery died and it erased her save file. A couple of years later…my sister found out that her save file was gone and she put the blame on me. Seriously, it wasn’t my freaking fault. 
You can’t tell how much battery life is left on a game boy. (UNLESS I put the batteries in a Wii remote or something...)
Well, the good thing is that she DIDN’T take the game boy away because it was completely pointless now that her save file was gone. (she’s pretty much taken all her Wii / Wii U / 3DS games when she went on to live by herself)
So yeah, now that I’m A LOT older than I was back then and I don’t have to worry about my sisters save file now that it’s gone, I think I might do a play-through of Pokemon Red as I’m waiting for Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Well, at least in this generation, I don't have to worry about natures / abilities, so that's a plus for me.

I do a fair bit of retro-gaming. I have bought a Pi (I might re-buy this now the Pi 3 is out) a touchscreen and some arcade-style joysticks (again, I have bought some welcom retro-style units that might be a better choice, but was thinking more of building ONE of the kits into an minature arcade-upright style case, adding the touch screen and the pi, then exposing a usb port so a second-player could use a welcom)
anyhoo - just noting that the retromame image for pi supports gb and gbc

@Widdershins Oh, tell me about it. for the first couple of mins, the screen gave me eye strain.
After a while, you get used to the tiny screen. It really comes to show just how much technology has evolved since the 90's Provisionally, this is how my team looks at the moment:
- Wartortle Lv. 16
- Nidoran (Male) Lv. 14
- Spearow Lv. 10 (I dunno...I've always liked Spearow more than Pidgey)
- Pikachu Lv. 10 (I'll probably replace it with an Electabuzz, Electrode or Magneton later on in my journey. The ONLY reason WHY I have a Pikachu on my team is to deal with Misty.)
...and these are some of the Pokemon I'm thinking about putting on my team:
- Diglett / Dugtrio
- Hitmonlee
- Kadabra (I wont be able to get an Alakazam since I DON'T have a game link cable)
- Lapras
- Dodrio

Then there's KIIINDA the issue that the first games are rushed garbage.
Attack & Special Attack are the same thing so defenses mean almost nothing. There's numerous moves that can screw with the game's coding and even lock you into an infinite loop. Game Freak had, like, three months to crank a game out and it shows.
Then there was the whole debacle over how OP Psychic types were and how Sabrina was almost unstoppable because there were only two moves that could even touch a psychic type...
Generation One was a dumpster fire. I strongly recommend the Fire & Leaf remakes. Just about everything in the original games would glitch out!
