Well, that was certainly an interesting Pokemon Sword and Shield Research Update.
Was REALLY surprised to see galarian forms of Weezing, Zigzagoon and Linoone. I was REALLY surprised to see Linoone get an evolution.
(I hope it gets Extremespeed in its moveset)
As for the evil team? wow...that was pretty lame.
And here, I thought the rivals name was bad enough. Team Yell? is that REALLY the best name they can come up with!? 
All in all, they didn't really reveal much in this update. Was expecting to see the 2nd evolutions of the starters.
What are your thoughts on the Pokemon Sword and Shield Research Update?

@SolarFlare13 Well... admittedly they can’t do the whole Organized Crime thing again they did with Giovanni’s Rockets.
Say what you will of Team Flare but... they were the closest the pokemon world will get to actual Natzis. That whole “Only our chosen few will survive our ultra weapon’s destruction of the planet.”
... i’m cool wit’ what we got. Besides! Who’s to say the Big Bad Boss ain’t some brilliant puppeteer who’s got the government at his call?!

@Widdershins Despite how goofy they looked, Team Flare was the last evil team to have a serious ambition, which was to commit genocide.
I'd say the best evil team IMO is Team Galactic. Cyrus was a madman and all he cared about was creating the perfect world. The team was well thought out. You had your grunts, commanders and of course, you had the leader. (...and they were WORTHY of those ranks). They captured the lake guardians to create the red chain in order to control / possess Dialga / Palkia so they can bend time / space to their will.
Man, I just want an evil team that has that ranking system. We haven't had a team like that in AGES!!!
(...and one that can put up a fight. Team Magma / Team Galactic gave me the most amount of trouble back in the day...)
Also, I can't wait to Dynamax my Tyranitar when I get my copy of Pokemon Shield

I can see a dragon type eeveelution happening. I think there was a confirmation about a steel type in a sort of picture, but I'm not too sure on that. Although, gen 4 gave us two eeveelutions. So, it would make sense if gen 8 gave us two more evolutions for dragon and steel.

Nah, Gnoggin has pretty much shot down any further developments with Eevee. The theory is that all of Eevee's evolutions are magical types; ones based around what was, at time of conception, primarily special attackers. And at that, they're all types that are considered cute & marketable.
Dragon, Steel, Rock, Fighting and etcetera are all more "Tough." What would take designing Eevee far too out of its original design to risk the pokemon that nearly combats Pikachu for being the face of the fandom.
Eevee's dead, I say. ...in the subject of further evolutions, that is.
Besides, it's got what, eight mutations now? Leave the poor thing alone already!

Alright, this one is for the Pokemon fans. Okay, I noticed A LOT of people have been ranking the starter Pokemon from each gen and I thought I'd tag along.
Here's my list:
Gen 1 - Charmander
Gen 2 - Tododile
Gen 3 - Mudkip
Gen 4 - Turtwig
Gen 5 - Snivy
Gen 6 - Fennekin (I don't really have a favourite in this generation. I'm only picking Fennekin 'cuz I picked it as my starter for my Pokemon Y play-through)
Gen 7 - Rowlett
Gen 8 - Sobble
What's your favourite starter Pokemon?

Hmm...That's difficult to say. If I had to pick then I would go with:
Gen 1: Charmander
Gen 2: A tie between Cyndaquil and Totodile
Gen 3: I remember my first time playing the games it was Torchic. However, I would have to go with Treeko.
Gen 4: Chimchar
Gen 5: I went with Tepig for my first playthrough. Over time, I would have to say a tie between Snivy and Oshawott
Gen 6: Fenniken
Gen 7: Popplio
Gen 8: It would be pretty awesome to see the evolutions, but I'm still going to go with Grookey -

That's the funny thing I've noticed. I've remembered now who I picked back in generations One & Four.
Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Treeko & Turtwig because I was pure grass type, apparently, up until Unova. Then it was Oshawott, Fennekin, then Popplio. Water, Fire, then Water. Which would mean... I'm pretty much destined to pick Scorbunny. And I do like rabbits, but its much too much sporty for me. So I'm stuck on Galar!
But yeah! Fennekin's likely my number one! Poppy's my second!

UN-BELIEVEABLE!!! O.O
Porsche has just won the Spa 24 Hours!!!!!! 
THAT was an EXTRAORDINARY win!!!
I'm SO happy one of my favourite brands WON the race!!! 
Kevin Estre in the #20 Gulf livery Porsche was PHENOMINAL in the 1st hour of the race. He literally had THE fastest car in the field, overtaking cars left, right and center. I had a gut feeling Porsche was gonna win, but I didn't think that was actually gonna happen
I did say: if Porsche won the Spa 24 hours, I would get this Porsche 911 RSR diecast X3 Well, I am a man of my word
As for the race itself, it could've been better.
There was SO MANY full-course yellows / safety cars and there was even a red flag. You could say this was the Spa 5 hours X3 Nevertheless, a win is a win

I just finished watching super-pole A.K.A the top 20 shootout and Mercedes has claimed Pole Position for the Spa 24 hours.
The #4 Black Falcon Mercedes was the last car out and it knocked the #117 Porsche down to 2nd. Honestly, I thought Porsche was gonna get pole position ...Nevertheless, a good lap from the Mercedes
Now, the grid has been set for the Spa 24 hours.
Who do I think is gonna win the event? Well, I hope it's one of my favourites (Bentley, Mercedes, Aston Martin and Porsche)

I just finished watching qualifying for the Spa 24 hours and 3 of my favourite brands (Mercedes, Aston Martin and Porsche) have qualified in the top 20.
Where they've finished in this session is NOT where they'll be starting for the race. Those who’ve finished / qualified in the top 20 will go onto super-pole A.K.A the top 20 shootout, which is tomorrow.
I’m a little disappointed there’s NO Bentley in the top 20 (they JUST missed out on super-pole). 
Oh well. It’s the race that counts. It doesn’t really matter where you start. It’s a long race, but it’s always nice to start somewhere near the front row of the grid. I dunno why…my gut is telling me Porsche is gonna win this race…
Who do I think is gonna get pole position? 
I reckon it's either gonna be Mercedes or Porsche, but we'll have to wait and see

I just finished watching GMK a couple of days ago and I gotta say, it was a pretty interesting Godzilla movie. I like the concept of it: King Ghidorah and Mothra are the guardians of japan and Godzilla is evil in this movie.
It was certainly one of the more darker Godzilla films (seeing all the tragedy Godzilla brings to Japan and that poor girl in the hospital, who gets tail slapped) O.O I felt bad for Baragon. Overall, this Godzilla was brutal and crafty. This was a REALLY entertaining Godzilla movie

The British GT will be racing at Spa this weekend. ^^
For some teams, this is a "test" for the Spa 24 hours . If you haven't seen the Spa 24 Hours, I highly recommend watching this live-stream. (when it's LIVE of course) 
This should give you a good idea of what the event is gonna be like.
