      Indeed, dramatic Rarity is best Rarity! :D She's such an entertaining character, and a lot of that is thanks to Tabitha St. Germain – her portrayal of Rarity is my favorite voice role in the whole series (and was that even before Rarity became my favorite pony). :grin:

      Honestly, I feel that it adds to her appeal. I've been enjoying Rarity's character a ton recently, and at least a quarter of that has to due with her overdramatising everything.

      @Jeric O btw, thanks for the link. That was a pretty good streaming site. It did have a teeny bit of lag here and there, but it wasn't that bad and I saw most of it. Honestly, it was better than the ones on Equestria Daily. The ones on there have un-skippable ad's every 5 - 10 mins and they were lagging VERY often...

    Hey guys, I have a question for you: how do you feel about Season 9 being the last season of Friendship Is magic? :sunny: would you like the series to continue or are you excited about G5? :ticking:

    I've been looking at ALL the comments on youtube, equestria daily and on the MLP Forums, and every-one's 50 - 50 at the moment. Honestly, I cant wait for G5. :mlp_yeehaa: From what I've heard, it's gonna be JUST as good as Friendship Is Magic (it wont be anything like G3) :sealed: and the mane 6 are coming back :catface: 

    For those of you who DONT want the show to end, I understand. If I were you, I'd give G5 a chance. :please:

    I certainly wont be going anywhere. Also, the FINAL Season of Friendship Is Magic will be starting next week. I can't wait to see what happens :ph3ar:

      @Lord Valtasar I saw a rumor a while back (IDK if it's true, I don't keep up with most of the news) that there was gonna be some wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff where the Equestria we know is going to go through a 'universe is ending' scenario (sort of) and everyone we know is going to get transported to/make a new universe, similar to what we know but with some differences in the process of trying to save the current universe. Might hold some merit, given what we've seen in the S9 trailer, Tirek could pull some nasty stuff and the Mane 6 ends up deciding the only way to survive is to reboot everything.

      I'll certainly be giving G5 a chance, but to be honest, I'd prefer it if FIM got a couple more seasons. There are so many amazing things about the show right now, it will be sad to lose some of them, regardless of how good the new show is... :sunny:

    Okay, I'm gonna head to the store in a couple of hours and I'm gonna see if there's any POP Vinyl Stormtrooper / Black Series Stormtrooper figurines lying around. So far, I haven't had ANY luck :mlp_please:

    As you can already tell, I’ve been re-watching the entire series and I’m up to episode 5. I can honestly say The Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones is late 90’s – early 2000’s cheese, but I love it for what it is. :catface:

    I honestly found Phantom Menace to be more entertaining than the 2nd episode. Revenge Of The Sith is STILL my favourite episode. :ticking:

    It’s been a VERY long time since I’ve watched the original trilogy and I remember watching these episodes on our old TV…and I remember saying that I did not like these episodes ‘cuz the quality wasn’t as good as the prequels and the light-saber duels weren’t as flashy…and my favourite character (obi wan Kenobi) dies in episode 4. :sunny: What I didn’t know was these episodes were made in the late 70’s / 80’s... :sunbutt:

    I recently watched A New Hope and I can honestly say it’s MUCH better than Episodes 1 and 2 :laugh: …and I’m at the mid-way point of The Empire Strikes Back... and…I’m not really enjoying it at the moment. :mlp_lie: 

    Maybe my opinion will change after I’ve seen the 2nd half of the film :catface:

     

    This is gonna be a VERY un-popular opinion and despite the amount of criticism it gets, I love the prequel trilogy. :laugh: That was a part of my child-hood when I was growing up and that’s what got me into star wars as a whole. :ticking:

    I’ve only seen The Force Awakens once at my uncles place and…my cousin spoiled the whole movie. :unamused: Nevertheless, it was…kinda underwhelming in comparison to the ones I’ve seen. :sunny: I haven’t seen The Last Jedi, but from what I’ve gathered, it's said to be the worst star wars movie in the entire franchise and to be fair…I knew Disney would screw it up. Star Wars has some serious conflicts…and Disney? well…they focus more on kids shows…so yeah. :please:

     

    No doubt, the prequel trilogy has some of the best light-saber duels in the franchise ^^ :sneer:

      So yeah, first off, the prequels definitely get more hate than they deserve. Are they a bit more flawed than the OT cuz Lucas had a more direct hand in the editing? Yeah. But they're not *bad* overall. ROTS is tied for my fave with ANH (cuz I saw ANH first when I was 6 and it re-released in theaters in the early 90s, and it's what got me into geekery in the first place, so it has a special place for me :P) Though I think most people have changed their opinion and come around to this view over time anyway, that the OT isn't as bad as people first said it was.

      The thing you have to understand about the OT, is like you said, they were made in the late 70s/early 80s...there was no WAY the saber fights were going to be as dramatic as they are now, because of the tech they had to use to make the sabers come to life. Rotoscoping was still fairly new, CGI was nearly unheard of, and in order to actually DO the rotoscoping, the prop sabers themselves were these heavy, clunky things that were hard to move-which is why OT saber fights look more like traditional broadsword fighting, because that's the only way you could handle them. At the same time, there were just enough advances in tech for them to make the fights a bit faster and more dramatic in the 2nd and 3rd movies of the OT, as you'll see-but they still retain that kind of traditional aesthetic. And there's definitely something to be said about how well the visuals DID look for using 98% traditional effects methods like models. (It's also kind of important to note here on whether you're watching the ORIGINAL original trilogy, or the remastered versions, because there's definitely a difference with the way ships look and move).

      As far as the sequel trilogy....TFA was...*okay*. Not bad, but nothing special and definitely not the sort of thing fans were hoping for. TLJ, as you've heard, is utter gutter trash horse fuckery. And that's what happens when you hire different people to write different chapters of an overarching story, AND don't even have an general plan for said story to begin with. It's also important to note that while JJ Abrams has his faults (like that blasted obsession with 'mystery boxes' that lead nowhere, just for the sake of 'OOO MYSTERY'), at least he's not an arrogant pissant douchewaffle like Rian Johnson, who literally (he's on video actually saying the following flat out) stated that he WANTS to piss off half the people who view any of his movies, or else he feels like he failed at his job. And Disney obviously bears some blame for even *hiring* an ass like that in the first place (especially when all he'd worked on prior to Star Wars were small time indie projects).

      And about you not liking ESB as much-the thing to remember, like I said above, is that the entire saga is meant to be taken as one large story, broken into acts (the individual trilogies), which three chapters each. So the dramatic structure applies to both each trilogy, and each movie. Each movie has it's own rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution, but so too does each trilogy-right now. watching ESB, you're in the middle of a 'slow burn' of rising action in the overall story of the trilogy-so it's not going to be as fast paced and hectic as ANH; but you can bet it's going to pick up again in ROTJ. You also have to take into account that ESB and ROTJ were never guaranteed to be made; for all Lucas knew ANH was going to be a total flop and Star Wars would never have become the phenomena it is, so while he had a general idea for where the story would go, he had to flesh it out after the fact, after ANH was so successful. What I said at the beginning of this paragraph also explains why you aren't as fond of AOTC-Lucas has said many times that each trilogy is meant to 'rhyme', so the first movie in a trilogy is going to have similar beats as the first movie in the other trilogy, and so on (and this can fail if you make it rhyme so much it's more of a copy than a 'rhyme', as we saw with TFA...or take the dullest section of one movie and stretch it out to be the WHOLE movie, as we saw in TLJ ).

      And, if you haven't watched it yet, and want more awesome Clone Wars action, the Clone Wars 3D cartoon is damn good (and they're finally making season 7 after the show got cancelled when Disney bought the property), so that's gonna be awesome, since Dave Filoni (the showrunner) is a guy who *actually* cares, and to boot *knows*, about Star Wars, unlike the current movie directors.

    I did the practice test like, 6 times and when I went over to the RTA, I absolutely nailed it!!! B) I got the whole thing done in 10 mins and I only got 1 question wrong...

    OMG!!! :wub: I DID NOT THINK I would pass, but I did and I did it on my first try :D *fist-pumps like crazy* It was multiple choice and It asked me the exact same questions like it did in the practice test...and I got all the easy ones. :derp: Oh man, I CAN'T WAIT to start driving...

They're supposed to be common!!! :o I've already went to a number of retailers and I haven't found A SINGLE ONE in stock. You'd think they'd have a couple of First Order Storm-Trooper figurines lying around, but no...

      Might be because Star Wars toys arent selling as well at the moment, because of the horrible reception of the movies and games in the last few years. Also the original trilogy stuff is probably gonna be hard to find since its 40 years old and prequel hype is also long past.

    Okay, so there are these rumours going around that we’ll be getting 2 BRAND NEW Nintendo Switch models sometime this year. There’s gonna be a cheaper version and a more powerful version of the Nintendo Switch. 

    See!? This is WHY I didn’t want to get a Nintendo Switch. I knew they were working on a cheaper alternative. I just hope it doesn’t look anything like the Nintendo 2DS…

    Oh, and they’ll be show-casing these new models at E3. It’ll be interesting to see what they look like :ooh:

    Like I said before, I will not spend more than $300 on a Nintendo Switch. That’s WAY too much. :mlp_confused: The ONLY reason WHY I wanna get a Nintendo Switch is so I can play Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Pokemon Sword and Shield. That’s it. ...and maybe Mortal Kombat 11.

      Personally, when it comes to the new console for Pokémon games, my foremost concern is how it fits in the hands.

       Like, Color I got used to... but Advance kinda hurt my palms to play & the whole hinge set up on the DSs feels like asking for trouble. I kinda don't want small, seperateable, easily losable parts on my console... sure, I don't exactly walk around much wit' me 'portable' console, but still. I don't want it poofing into dust when I drop it on the tile, lol!

      IKR!? :mlp_confused: I did a size comparison between the Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo Switch...and it's much too big to be a hand-held console. They can EASILY make it smaller. From what I've heard, the Nintendo Switch Mini will be smaller than the current one and it'll be cheaper. They say it'll be the successor to the 3DS and it'll be for casual gamers. I just hope it doesn't look anything like a Nintendo 2DS. That thing looked hideous!!! O_O ...and I hope it's LESS than $350 :mlp_please: the good thing is that it'll be coming out around Christmas time. By then, I would have got a additional $100 from my parents (when it's my birthday) + another $100 for Christmas. I got $450 in my wallet atm and I'm saving it for this...

      Eh, I'd say bigger screen is better. That mini honestly looks like a smartphone to me. Plus, more colors on the Switch; feels more like its own thing for your gaming experience rather than just some extra buttons slapped onta the side of a newfangled phone doohickey. Like, Ipad versus iPhone.

      I remember when phones just made calls.

      ...Is... is that switch playing the old Generation Three Pokémon games?! That never occurred to me that it could be redownloaded upwards through the consoles! I've lost so many of my older cartridges, lol!

        ...It'd still probably hurt my eyes to look at the old graphics though.

            ….where'd I leave that Pearl version? …and what happened to my Diamond?!

      I know what you mean. I was hoping to see him appear in the show. As the seasons went by, I was starting to wonder if it was impossible. However, it's great to see an old character returning. I wonder how the show will utilize him as I wonder if he'll show up multiple times in the season.

      After seeing the trailer and synopsis, I'm happy that one possible opportunity that I was hoping for was fulfilled. :D

      It'll be interesting to see what he's like :ooh: It'll be VERY interesting to see how they brought Sombra back from the dead (I have a feeling it has something to do with his horn and over-time, it slowly repaired his body) and whether or not Queen Chrysalis will aid them. We still don't have ANY information on Cosy Glow and WHY she wanted to take over Equestria AND her relationship with Tirek. They never explained this in the season 8 finale and I would like some answers this time 'round :mlp_huh:

    Hey every-pony :laugh: how's it going? =D as for me, well...we just had a MASSIVE thunderstorm a couple of hours ago :mlp_please: ...and it was pretty scary :mlp_confused: Around 5:45PM in the evening, there was a BIG storm cloud looming over our head (you could literally see it coming towards us. It was incredibly dark) and it brought some of the BIGGEST lightning strikes I've EVER seen!!! :sunbutt: Oh, and it was incredibly LOUD!!! O~O :blink:

    It dumped a bucket full of rain and there was some flash flooding. After 15 mins, the storm subsided and we were treated with a red sunset around 7PM :catface:
