Well, my day just went from bad to worse.  I was un-able to make a post last night 'cuz my BRAND NEW laptop had a technical issue, and a REALLY bizarre one at that.  O_O  When I took it to the tech experts, they told me there was a problem with the hard drive and it has NOTHING to do with the fact I didn't update my laptop. I can't believe it. My laptop is less than 7 months old and it ALREADY has a problem. My dad had to pay $280 just so they can fix it. Are you FREAKING KIDDING ME!?  I took care of this laptop...

They said they'd call me once they've resolved the issue, but I am absolutely gutted that my laptop decided to have a technical issue...

We were supposed to have lunch together at an all-you-can-eat buffet today, but no...my laptop had to ruin EVERYTHING!!!  >:( there was a VERY good reason WHY I didnt want to update it. The last time I did, my laptop did not want to go into sleep mode even when I put the lid down...and they told me that was the cause of an update... 

Not only that, every couple of hours, it would tell me to update my laptop, and I just got sick and tired of it. And the stupid thing is, it would tell me EVEN if I already installed the latest update...

...but yeah, the technician told me it had nothing to do with that and he told me the issue was far more sinister. i dunno when I'll be getting it back, but I hope it's soon. (Like, Tuesday - Wednesday next week) 

I don't like using the Mac downstairs. It takes 2 MINUTES to turn on, takes an additional 3 minutes to warm up and my parents are ALWAYS using it. Oh, and it lags quite a fair bit.  

On the bright side, I DID manage to find a First Order Storm Trooper when I went to toy mate (which is the replacement for Toys R Us here in Australia).  It was hidden in the back and there was only one left. I LITERALLY had to go to hell and back just to get this thing XD It was a cheap $3 figurine, but...it was totally worth it  ^^ 

Now all I need to get is this Kylo Ren figurine and I'll be satisfied 

I'm pretty ticked off about this...of all the times it could've happened, why today!?  the last time I turned it on (last night at 6PM), there was nothing wrong with it. When I turned it on at 10PM, it gave me a bunch of technical jargon that I didnt understand (telling me I needed to contact the HP tech center) and I was unable to log in...  O_O 

Have the forums been really slow for anypony else recently?  I seem to be fine on all websites except this one today.

Lot of Fuss & Bother these days about supposed "Leaks" of what the new pokemon starters will turn out to be. I feel I can allay those worries.

 Pokémon has its artstyle, sufficed to say, I know their work when I see it. But furthermore, Starters have a very distinct spirit to their development. 

 They're the first ones you see, they have to mean much to you, they have to give this air of growing up & maturing. They don't just "Get Bigger." There's always this little style flourish, an extravagance no one else but Game Freak would have thought up.

 They become something to be proud of. Take the one that gets poopood on most. Did Emboar turn out to be just "Bigger fire pig?" No, it got this flaming, total boss popped collar of gangster flames! It got these golden decorations on its waist!...and it was still a bigger pig.

 But they do follow the spirit of what we're initially shown. My Theory: Starter Pokémon follow the theme of Cool, Tough, Cute.

 We want a bulky strong (kinda doofy) one, a thin agile skilled one, and a magical fame-inclined (somewhat effeminate) pretty one!

 And what we got this time around for species to work off of, is monkey, rabbit & lizard.

 Very, very rarely do we ever see monkies or lizards portrayed as magical, thin pretty like we got with Delphox & Primarina. Nor is easy to make a Rabbit anything less that fully cute at any stage of it.

 We got Grookey already utilizing tools as its design & species (something we don't actually see very often in pokemon! Tools!) so that already solidifies it as Strength.

 Scorbunny has Speed clearly already locked in, but Sobble has its emotional sensitivity buildt into its design...

 What I hope for, is a clarification in design style for these little guys. I'm hoping, personally, that Sobble might be Water/Ice... even if that is kinda common a typing. We need an ice starter!

And I'm pretty set on Scorbunny being Fire/Fairy & Grookey Grass/Rock.

You can count me in on the Sinnoh remakes. 

Would really love to reuse my Sinnoh Pokemon Trainer OC again. “Black” Pearl, Dark type specialist & procurer of rare items for those that don’t ask questions or have “morals.”

 She’s a punk-goth, mostly because her mother was a Contest celebrity & pressured her to be as girly as possible.

Love how that game’s file has maybe eight original pokemon... and several dozen boxes filled with suspiciously buff pokemon bosses that clearly don’t exist around Sinnoh or are even legal.

 You should see me with my Tyrantums. Y'know, the Actual Trex pokemon? I have two now.

 Me: Yeah. He does that. Hard to train accuracy into him when he's got more skull than brain. But the Little Boy means well!

You know who I reckon is gonna be in the Season 9 finale A.K.A the final episode of FIM? Scorpan It would interesting to see him help the mane 6 in some shape or form 

I don't know about you guys but I think Tyranitar is easily one of the most overrated Pokemon. Like, sure, his 134 attack stat is nice, and it gets some nice moves, but what's it supposed to do when it has 61 speed and 7 weaknesses? Not to mention a quad-weakness to fighting. Because of its numerous weaknesses and low speed, by the time it takes for you to switch Tyranitar in, do some setup, and then try and pull off an ATTACK... THEY'VE ALREADY GOT YOU! Sorry, Tyranitar. If only you were faster... or didn't have so many weaknesses...
