Yuu Xeno

I was probably going to put a 1970's Chevy Chevelle (It's my favorite car), but it's highly unlikely anyone would have one in this time period, which is set in 2018 for this RP, by the way. On that note, even though it's 2018 for the Human world, it's only right after Twi became a Princess. But, just for the fun of it, let's say it's a Chevelle, mainly because I find any other car slightly...lacking and/or boring :/

Solar Flare nodded,"Yes, that would be correct, Princess Luna." He turned to Twilight,"Although, as much as I do know about ancient ruins, I still have a few questions about this particular one, if I may ask." He used his wing to open the top of his saddlebags, and pulled out a small book with his teeth. It was enchanted by his boss, so it wouldn't get damaged, be it by a fifty foot drop or his teeth. He motioned for Twilight to take it, along with the small enchanted quill on a string around his neck.

As Mike's reaction was, it took Robert a few seconds to act. It was too late, though. He hit the brakes and spun the wheel to try and avoid it, but in less than a second, the car, going well over sixty, slammed into the animal. The impact was louder than he expected, almost sounding like lightning going off right next to his ear. The next few seconds were a blur, and when he came back, he could see a tree approaching the front. The windshield was cracked from the deer most likely rolling over the top of the car, along with the headlights producing no light. He let go of the wheel and closed his eyes, also letting his body go limp. He's had a few experiences with car crashes, and he's learned to not tense up as it would only hurt more. The next thing he knew, he felt the car collide with the tree and being thrown forward. His head hit the dash, and all went black.

Solar Flare stepped inside, taking a moment to admire the interior. It was...quite the sight, to say at the very least. The walls were completely crystal, which was to be expected, but to actually see it was a different story all together. He admired the castle for a bit longer before turning back to the Princesses. "Princess Twilight, it's a pleasure to meet you." He bowed out of respect. Although the only royalty he's really been around was the Sisters, he's only been visited a few times personally. He still knew how to act around them, however.

"You've never had a mini-pizza!" Robert gasped. "For shame, Mike. For shame." He gave a slight chuckle, turning his eyes back to the road. "Yeah, they sure do, kid." He agreed, looking up slightly at the sky. It was indeed a nice sight, one he wished to see more of in the future. He then looked back to the road, seeing what Mike was talking about. "Yep, that's it. I'd recognize those lights anywhere." He pressed the gas a little more, but not too much, just so they could carve off a few seconds. However, not two seconds later did Robert see something moving towards the road out of the corner of his eye. In no time at all, he realized it was a deer crossing right in front of the headlights.

Robert shrugged. "Beats me. Only thing I've seen is pavement and a light every now and then." He glanced down to Mike's map, seeing as they were on a straight away and no cars were in sight. "Hmm, we should only be about thirty minutes away then." He knew this area well since he took this highway pretty much every day. "Wonder if that gas station has those mini pizzas. I haven't been able to grab a slice in weeks."

Solar Flare was right behind Princess Luna, giving her some space to stretch her wings. He would admit, he could never see how the Princesses wings were larger than anypony else, but he figured it had something to do with the whole Alicorn race. He looked up to Luna. "Well, Princess Luna, here we are!" He smiled. "This town reminds me a lot of my home, in a sense." He the looked to the castle of Princess Twilight Sparkle. Again, he would say it was quite the beautiful looking castle. He was no expert, but it looked well made for somepony of Twilight's importance. "Shall we wait outside for the Princess, or...?" He glanced back to Luna.

OOC Link- Robert sighed heavily, trying to stay awake. He's been on the road for hours without rest, but he needed to keep his eyes open. Maybe there was a motel they could stop at for the rest if the night, so they could get some much needed sleep. It didn't help that it was completely dark, and the faint light from the dash didn't do anything to keep him awake. He ran a hand through his hair, glancing down at the time on the dashboard. Two in the morning, great. With another sigh, he gripped the steering wheel a bit tighter, just in case he starting dozing off. After a minute or so, he looked over to his passenger, Mike. "You know of any motels or anything on this highway? My eyes are killing me." He asked.

Solar Flare eyed the large hole in the center of town carefully. It was quite large, and even deeper than its width. He didn't know why the ground decided to give way, but one thing was for certain...a whole slew of catacombs and things to see waited for him. He was quite excited to see what it had to offer, but at the same time, he didn't know what was inside, He knew what catacombs were, of course, but actually seeing them was a different story. Breaking out of his thoughts, he turned to see Princess Luna beside him, looking at the sinkhole as well. He didn't know why the Princess of the Night had decided to come, but he wasn't going to be the one to complain about it. He simply sighed and let go of the edge the chariot, sitting down on his haunches. Whatever this was, it must be important, and he was determined to see it through.

Nop! Reason I'm using my OC is because I've never done an RP with him before...yay! I've only ever wrote him in stories, so this should be...interesting, to say the least. Again, as I've said before, he'll be sent by Celestia, but since Luna is coming along, the reason is for him to get some experience in mapping out new places, since in this, he's high in ranking of Canterlot's archeology team. Just for flavor, yes?

I don't have an actual sheet, so this will have to do :/ Name: Solar Flare Race: Pegasus Cutie-mark: A three layered sun. He is highly skilled with flying, and can go a lot higher than most ponies in the sky, hence his mark for 'almost touching the sun'. Personality: Solar is as friendly as they come, and loves to meet new ponies. However, he can be a little shy, depending on the circumstances. He usually is a happy stallion, but when things get a little too serious or scary, he'll curl up into a metaphorical ball and wait for things to get better. He doesn't like seeing anypony get hurt, and will try to help in anyway he can.

Ah, let the dreaded hate comments commence! Nah, I understand you completely. I sometimes just like letting the guitars and stuff take me somewhere else(I know it's cheesy, but it works), but sometimes I like just throwing my head everywhere. Depends on my day and mood, you know? As for what I could introduce you, I don't even know where to start. Most of the stuff I listen to have the harsh vocals most people don't like. I like it because it's not tainted like the pop industry is. Try a few of these, maybe.

Fair enough, to each their own. You won't find me complaining, I just never really found old-school...as enjoying and as atmospheric as modern metal. What would you be willing to try, music wise? I don't have anything for pop or rap, though, as I don't like those genres.

Rhett finished up his bowl, and started working on Melody's. He didn't expect her to go snooping around, seeing as it was common courtesy. He's been having a problem with that recently, and he realized how nice it was not to be surrounded by idiots, for lack of a nicer word. He shrugged and continued working on the food.

'Ello @Wannabrony! So with all the past posts about your favorite music, I was wondering what you thought about some of the modern/semi-modern music around and rock/softer metal bands. Bands like Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle and the like. And one more question, do you prefer to stick with your kind of music, or would you be willing to try out other bands?

I know I'm a bit late, but here's some suggestions I could give. Personally, I'm not as into rock as I am metal and such, but there are a few bands that I quite enjoy, such as... Demon Hunter-The name may throw you off, and a lot of people don't like them because they're Christian Metal, but music is music, right? They might be in the genre metal, but I like classifying them as hard rock. Chevelle-These guys are one of my favorites, and like another suggestion coming up, they have managed to keep their own sound for years. I'd suggest the songs Closure and The Red. Breaking Benjamin-Another very talented band, these guys have been around since the early 2000's, maybe even later I think. Good songs to listen to by them would be Cold, Diary of Jane, and Breath for their older tracks! Tool-How could I not include these guys, even if they are metal. Just listen to them and you would understand why There are plenty more to choose from, but those are the ones I really like. Once you get into this type of music, a whole new slew of choices will follow! Enjoy, and be sure to Head-Bang like a champ!

What is your go to pick for music? Personally, I would pull up any metal or hard rock. Progressive Metal to be specific.

Most of the time, the first thing I notice is the way the carry themselves. If they slouch or just simply don't have good posture, I usually assume they're carefree and are the type to joke around. For the most part, I'm usually right about it. There are a few exceptions, such as myself, but that's just me.
