Hue hue two packages from China arrived and one of them contained the legit ordered product, the other one was empty, had only a destroyed product's package inside.
That explains the hole in the package, someone stole it.
So now the test, I RMA'd it and I'll see what happens. I'm curious if the buyer's protection on that shopping platform does anything more than existing in theory.

Are you referring to cups?
Yeah, I've been looking for some Genshin themed cups, but the ones people make and sell, leave quite a bit to wish for. Designs that seemingly looked great, always had something, that I didn't like ~ like, some unwanted text, the images being printed twice on both sides, because their aspect ratio wasn't suitable for covering the entire cup, or images being simply oddly stretched etc. etc.. Generally many looked nice, but a bit unprofessional, if I could put it like this.
So, I've decided to contact a company that makes custom cups and I designed images with my favorite characters, that are suitable for this specific purpose, with specific dimensions and all that. It's nothing too epic though, it's kinda like users here designing signatures with their favorite characters, except I've designed some for cups. Even interiors are nicely colored and it looks wonderful.

It goes to show the customer service of that platform is either willing to listen and cooperate with their customers no matter how small the value of the lost item is, or they're just sarcastically willing to deal with the problem of giving back one dollar so they don't have to deal with one complainer. Either way, I praise them for being so generous to you!

@Windy Breeze I kinda suspect, that it's because, by refunding me that one dollar, they didn't have to cover $3 for the coupon that went into that purchase, so they actually saved some money for themselves that way. Well, in the end I still lost the coupon, or half of it, because the second product from that order did arrive. I can't order the lost item for the same price again. If not that, then probably the latter from what you've mentioned. It went too easily, I guess one dollar didn't make a difference for them after all.
Of course I appreciate their quick response this time, but I really hope they won't leave me alone when something actually valuable will be lost or destroyed during shipping. So far I'm satisfied with that shopping platform. I already saved tons of money, got the items I wanted for much cheaper than on other platforms.
It's a local company here in Poland. From what I saw, they also make custom prints on mouse pads, pillows, clothes etc..
