Took a day off today;

I'm working on adding the initial configuration when the game is launched for the first time. It will ask for language and some basic options like display mode and window size.
While I'm working on before-title-screen stuff, I also added checking for new versions, so that the game will notify if there are updates available. (nothing too fancy, it's not a launcher, it won't automatically update the game - it will only mention new versions and allow to download the new package)

Well, I just finished watching the Eurovision song contest and I just wanna say congratulations to Italy for winning the Eurovision song contest. ^^  They got a massive 318 points from the fans and that gave them the lead. For a second there, I thought Switzerland / France was gonna win and I’d be pretty disappointed if they did. (IMO, their songs were shit.) I’m a lil disappointed Finland did not win. That was my favourite. (it's very 'late 90's - early 2000s' and I love it. A combination of rock / rap music. it reminds me of the late 90s - early 2000s when everyone was trying to be cool. *sighs* man, I miss the good ol days...) 

Oh well. at least a rock and roll concert won the Eurovision song contest. I love how the lead singer said ‘rock and roll never dies’. Amen to that. That is a MASSIVE middle finger to the 2010s and modern pop music in general. ROCK AND ROLL ALL THE WAY BABY!!!  IMO, there should be more rock and roll songs in Eurovision. Overall, I’m satisfied with the result =)

I'd say something to criticize churches/religion a bit, but that would be kinda against the forum rules I suppose, so I guess I'll just remain silent.

Anyway, today the funeral took place. Everybody gangsta until I got to see the photo of my grandpa there in the church -- that's the moment when my mind realized, that it's real, that it actually happens, that it's not a dream. Many flashbacks of things I'm going to miss started floating around my mind. I still cannot believe this time has actually came. The time.. is really going flipping fast, maybe I should consider starting staring at the wall for the whole days to slow it down.

So... it's all over now. I'll miss his epic comments, him constantly asking me if I'd like to eat something.. and I guess I'll always feel bad, that I didn't get the chance to visit him lately because of that corona virus. He was always looking forward for another visit. It all happened so suddenly.

That surely was an extremely crappy week.

RIP my grandpa.
