War rested as he was told to and just in time to hear the clip clop of another ponies hooves as they entered the court yard. He turned to get a glance of the new comer as he moved to a position where he would be lined up in front of the pony currently in charge. As he looked over the next arrival more and more of the ponies began to make an appearance. One following the other only by minutes. He didn't know how many this team would consist of but it was quickly growing to a good size. His only concern for the moment was that none of these other ponies appeared combat ready. He understood it likely meant they had different skills they brought to the team but still did that mean he was meant to be the sole defender of this squad? No pressure. The first to follow him in was a light blue unicorn, he appeared exhausted and was a little smaller then the average unicorn which made him much smaller then War himself. War's eyes darted straight to his cutie mark. It was a habit of his to try and deduce what a ponies talent was, it was kind of fun for him as well since sometimes it was challenging. While he didn't know the proper name for the wand on his flank he had seen it before and was rocking his brain trying to remember. Before he could come to any conclusion though a orange earth pony mare had made her way inside. This one had really packed by the looks of it, pulling an entire cart along. The the mare spoke and introduced herself loud enough for War to catch her name. Amber Whiskey, he noted her cutie mark and low and behold it had a whiskey bottle. The bits lead him to believe she was a business pony of some kind and probably from a family that sold or made alcohol since it was in her name. The third pony to enter didn't seem interested in joining them. War started to wonder if he had entered the wrong room, maybe he was lost but he didn't seem to be leaving either way. He was to far to make out his cutie mark from up on the balcony but his purple coat really made him stand out even from distance. Their Pegasus host didn't jump on to him so he must be allowed in here, whoever he was. The black Pegasus War had saluted confirmed he was Crowley Ocula, War recalled that was the name listed with the princesses on his letter. This pony must be important to be listed with the monarchy. War would have assumed he would be the one who would brief them on the mission specs. That didn't seem to be the case even though he offered to answer some of their questions. He said they would be getting ready to meet with the princesses, meet them! War despite his occupation had never really met either of them, he was off fighting in other countries and they had never personally come to his unit or anything. ESO had always gotten their operation specs from some pony else. He could feel his heart rate rise a little and he suddenly felt a mixture of nervousness and excitement, like some school filly getting ready to meet their favorite pop singer. He could hardly breath or swallow and was going to have a really hard time thinking of proper questions now or anything for that matter. What should he say?! What should he do?! He prayed he didn't walk in there and embarrassed himself in front of them and the ponies he would be working with for an unbeknownst amount of time. He had always wanted to meet them but now he didn't know if he was ready. He felt weak and would desperately try not to pass out, he put a hoof to his head. War tired to get a grip on himself while Sir Crowley conversed with the new comers, obviously knowing more about each ponies dossier then War knew. It took him a while to notice that two other ponies had entered the room. He finally looked over and saw a pair of new unicorns, one green and the other a dark blue. He had been to lost in his thoughts about meeting the princesses he had missed Logic's inquiry as well as Mirror alluding that she was already acquainted with Logic. He decided to distract himself by trying to guess their talents...and quickly came up with nothing. Unicorns were so hard, 9/10 Pegasi cutie marks were weather related, 9/10 earth ponies were labor related. Unicorns though, magic was a complicated thing and the cutie marks took many forms, a lot not so obvious. Both had a large decorative cutie mark, one with math symbols which he recognized but didn't know what that meant for the unicorn's talent and the other had glyphs he knew nothing about. He had also decided that he had stood idle long enough lost in his thoughts when he should be introducing himself to his new squad. He turned his head to look at the group "Greetings, I am Equestrian Special Operations Agent War. It will be an honor to serve our country along side each of you." He then looked back at Sir Crowley, "Vagueness is to be understood, wouldn't want such messages to get intercepted by the wrong pony. I shouldn't require any answers until after the full brief. If a question I have goes unanswered I will have it cleared up before we begin, thank you."

Upon receiving his letter War left immediately as it had instructed. The request mentioned him and him alone so he had to leave his second in command, Famine, in charge of the situation in Zebrica and went on his way. He was surprised that the princesses had only requested him. If the situation was bad enough they needed to take him from his previous operation then why not have his entire unit look into it? The message had also mentioned there would be others and if that was the case this mission would be special. The princesses must have been seeking ponies with particular skills and his unit didn't compensate for what they needed. He would have a roll to play and he wasn't about to let his country down. The situation seemed odd. War had heard rumors that there was a suspicious crime spree invading his home country and while theft was bad it hadn't seemed to develop into such a large situation. Being out of the country however limited such information if it wasn't relevant. The guard must have been looking for these criminals and it was a pity they couldn't seem to apprehend them sooner. Whatever this individual or team of individuals had taken, it was important enough for the princesses to raise this band of theives from an inconvenience to a national threat. War was intrigued to say the least and even without being aware of the details, honored to take part. The trip home had taken a week on its own, it was something to expect when your occupation kept you out of Equestria proper. The message wanted them to gather in two weeks therefore he spent the week he had left before introductions preparing. He didn't know what the details of this operation would be but he wanted to prepare for it to take him off somewhere again just in case. He did his best to learn what was already known about these thefts in an inconspicuous manor but not much seemed to be known by the general public. After finding nothing of use he decided to fight his curiosity and wait for the mission brief. The morning of he woke early packed his armor, sword and a few other personal items into his saddle bag, ate, and bathed. Sometimes on these trips a pony never knew when they would see a bath again so he never missed the opportunity. He then left his upstate Canterlot home fresh and ready to take on whatever challenge was required. War decided to walk his way to the palace rather then fly, he didn't wish to waste any stamina if it wasn't necessary. He didn't know what they would be doing once they arrived, there could be tests, physical and mental evaluations, anything and he wanted to be at his peak. He also needed to make a quick stop before making his way to the palace. He haulted just outside a large nobles home near the exit of the noble district and pulled his own letter from his bag along with a pouch of bits. Dropping them both on the stoop, he knocked a few times and then left before they opened the door, he knew the servants would take care of it. A lovely young unicorn mare lived there, and she and War had become aquatinted. While War was away on missions she agreed to visit his father once a day to check on him. With his mangled leg and his age, if he fell he may not be able to get himself up. So War paid her to make sure that didn't happen. War had talked to his father about this mission a few days pervious. Or well 'talked' about what he was able to safely disclose, which was very little given the confidentiality of it. His father had understood having been in the same position many times but did seem pleased that his son would be doing something for the princesses directly. By 'seemed pleased' War meant he grunted and said "good" it was more then he had hoped. War finally made his way out of his home district and onto the busy streets to the palace. He had been to the castle before, several times in fact but spent most of the time he had there in the guard barracks were he could use their equipment. It was interesting going deeper into the castle then he had in the past. In fact he was being directed to the area nearest the princesses. A few of the guards knew War and saluted him to which he gave one in return before reaching his destination. The large red Pegasus entered the room, swiftly surveying it. It didn't seem as if anypony else had arrived yet but a lone pony standing motionless as stone. Well he had gotten up early and as a solider he had excellent punctuality. It would be fine, he would be here to see the others enter and be able to gather an impression before the squad became large. War walked directly up to the lone pony, presenting his letter and saluting. "Agent War reporting,"

Not sure if you are still doing these. Seems you have quite a few ponies on your plat but thought I would offer mine up anyways just in case you find the time. I really enjoy seeing him in different styles and yours is adorable.

You know you posted this forever ago and I never came back to my OCs profile to see if anyone ever commented. I kinda assumed he would never be viewed with how many people post their OCs here. So even though it's been ages I will respond! Gradient is just conflicting tastes I guess x) but glad you agree with the healing abilities. I think it takes some real thought to do healing correctly, a lot of people make it to over powered. I really wanted to make sure it didn't make him unbeatable, just tough. Well I got the combat idea from doing research on war, or powers associated with the apocalyptic horseman. One was mastery over weapons, he felt more appropriate then just sword mastery or something. We were having trouble with finding an ability it talent that caused War so rather I just made him really good at it.

He looks at Salon list, "I did t realize we had a salon in town, perhaps I will make an appointment there." "One other question though, where did you get your name? It's very interesting but would be quite a coincidence for your parents to name you prophet and then you became one...well unless it was prophesied...but did you take up that name after met your lord?

"He gave you life," War's eyes sparkled with intrigue, "I was also giving life, but is sounds like you and your lord gave a much better relationship then me and...my creator" War walked out of the room and came back pushing a small gray pony up to the hairstyles. "As you can see he...well he looks like...a mare but he would like to find a way to look more like a stallion. Problem is...his hair isn't really hair so it can't be cut...but maybe styled in some way?" The small gray pony smiled nervously and waved a hoof in greeting. // Wasn't to sure how to follow up so imma follow up like it's a RP XD hope that's okay.

Your lord sounds like a very noble pony, how did you discover it was your calling to aid him? Also you are hairstylist, do you take appointments? I have a brother who could really use some professional help with his...very special mane.

Assassin/rogue like classes, there are some exceptions to this rule of course. My first Dragon age character was a warrior since everybody played a rogue elf and I wanted to be a little different. For the most part though it would be assassin or something that could fall into that category. I find I am skilled in the stealth and burst game play, great attack power but low constitution, were I have to get in and out quickly and select targets strategically. When I play shooters I am always a sniper, which is probably as close to assassin as you get in shooters since the idea is to kill them before they know you are there. I have pretty good video game accuracy.

I can see were you are coming from and it is a pretty good idea but alas it wouldn't work with the story setup. The plot follows a unicorn scientist who seeks the power to create life in order to eventually work his way to god hood. These OCs are the results of his efforts. Of course it's more complicated then what I am writing here and would take a while to discuss fully, which is why a fanfic was in order. I do have the first chapter posted, if you would be interested I wouldn't mind your opinion. However like with all good stories not all the answers are shared in the first chapter, so if things don't seem complete that is why. Also the first chapter is mostly for setup so their personalities are not fully developed in such a short amount of time. More of their individually will be shown as it goes along. I am in search of an editer, don't get me wrong the story is readable, but mistakes are there and finding an editor is proving challenging. Had a guy attempt but he left behind mistakes as well as created some of his own. I have been putting off writing it for a while now due to an issue I ran into with a person who will go unnamed, they pretty much have kept me off FIMfiction for a while. If you are looking for character profiles here I am the only one with one. I have been role playing as War here and there so I thought I should have one. The others are role players but haven't really been participating in the pony community.

Thank you, I am glad you enjoy madness, and his creator is to. I have actually never heard of that particular story, sounds interesting and something I should look into but maybe after I finish mine I would rather not run into parallel because while there is a chance people will say we are similar that might be okay if it's pure coincidence. However if I read it and then something is similar it would feel like copying. Though while we hover around similar topics I do not yet know if the stories or ponies themselves are similar. Here is to hoping they will not be in the long run >_< Famines creator the one also going by Famine on this site did have the most trouble when designing his OCs appearance for many of the reasons you mention. It's hard to convey famine without making him to close the either death or pestilence. He was the last one to be finished and the only notable biblical famine quality is that he is black, and that we have locusts as his cutie mark. That of course is only appearance however, a real character is more about personality anyways and they are very developed in that area. Though I will not say all of them are predictable, as in they don't act like what someone would think. Famine it's self is hard to stereotype. I have seen it portrayled like gluttony, a heavey pony that eats a lot or everything and I have seen the starving pony who is weak and is always starving but can't seem to gain weight or quench his hunger. Madness' edgy-ness yeah you can take that up with his creator XD even though War is black and red his personality is very much the opposite of edgy so I take some pride in that. ....and wait are you saying ship War and Disaster?! By Celestia golden sun!!! I also watch the your OC suck series but I was an art major so I do know a few things about art XD I can see what you mean about the red not looking like a natural hair color red. Honestly his fur color fluctuates from picture to picture, I do think this red was taken from my avatar which looks less bright in it due to the lightened back ground when compared to this piece. Heck it's ponies I have seen some crazy colored OCs so I consider War pretty tame. Those guys do have a lot against gradient hair, but at least it's not space hair. People also don't like it when someone doesn't have a reason for picking such a feature, I picked this pattern with a purpose. I wanted to simulate burning wood, the chard black under the fallen Ash along with the flames. I felt it flowing from one to the next was a lot more fluid when chunks of color. Lol Pest does as Pest pleases you do have a few personalities figured out >_< Pest is a pretty relaxed character...in most circumstances. And Disaster is on the spot, he is a very punk like street fighter type as LeagueOfDisaster, the only other one of us who seems to want to show themselves can tell you. Attempts were made to covey some aspect of their element or personality with their expressions and poses in this piece.

Thanks for the comments I really appreciate any feedback, I think if I give out somemore info it might help explain some of the characters aesthetics. Well the story is about the ponies of the apocalypse. However the biblical story has been altered to fit into the world of mlp. In a sense our versions are not biblical in any way. Thus there are a few more ponies then just the four in the biblical story. The white pegasus is Pestilence, the black unicorn is Famine, the read pegasus is War and the Grey earth pony is death. Their colors as well as their aesthetics were based on the biblical versions. War is not a alicorn, that horn is on his helmet And in all honestly when I designed him I tried to avoid the red and black since it has such a stigma in the community but the biblical war is described as those colors so I went with it. Tried red and orange or other firey colors but he never turned out looking any good. And Madness isn't meant to shock anyone, he is just representing his element. Death's hair is spirits, there is a story there. The extra three ponis are: Disaster, Despair and Madness respectively. The rules about having extra was that they needed to relate in someway to the theme.That was what we decided when my friends and I decided to do this. However the story isnt like anything you might think based on what has been said. The goal was to make it very logical, down to earth and to take a edgy topic and portraye it in a good way. Honestly the ponies probably do not act anything like how you expect either, we are breaking a lot of cliche stereotypes with these. Oh and I might mention they are none special god like characters either. They are not in Equestria to bring about an apocalypse or anything. We were a little more creative and realistic then that They are all Stallions, yes even Death, he was meant to look fiminie. I will be sure to tell Pest you though he was a hot mare though! All these OCs were designed by different people with a theme or biblical pony in mind the only one of my own desgin is War. Well that's all I have time for might be back later.
