      imagine when the movie is out the mane 7 or 6 will have to transform into alicorns just to defeat a villain o.o that would be sooo horrible since they dont use the elemants of harmony anymore.

      Remember, Alicorns aren't all powerful.. As greatly powered as they may be.. Even their powers are not enough to do everything..

      Even Celestia (As an Alicorn, mind you) had to use the elements of Harmony in order to banish her sister to the moon..
