Eh...I'm in love with the drama of Emmerich's directing, and seeing this has really acquired my taste.
The special effects are unbelievable for ’96. And the huge destruction scene was one of the most impressively shocking scenes I've ever seen in movies (well, I don't watch to many movies of that genre, but that was pretty impressive in the effects department).
