  1. Well, let's see...20% cooler...10 seconds flat.......I think that's it.
  2. Banned because I hope you get better. :,(
  3. Hm....kinda wondering why this hasn't been mentioned yet... :| But the scariest game I've ever played so far is The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Ok first, it's the goal of the game. You have three days to stop the moon (I'll get to that in a sec) from crashing into a town in a world called Termina. The reason I highlight the location is because it's the alternate dimension of the series' main locale, Hyrule. So, nearly everything is as creepy, as well as some additional scarring stuffs. So, the moon. FREAKY AS HECK. It's got a face. A FREAKIN' FACE! It's like grimacing at you, but that's it. It's a giant polygonal moon that is just starting downward, not doing anything. It just has the same scary look on it's face the WHOLE TIME. And if that's not enough, it follows you WHEREVER you go. Y'know, just as a reminder. Nintendo was so nice to us on that part... *shudder* The feeling of having something or somepony stalking you for the whole game, it's just disturbing. Then, there's the general mood of this game. Metaphorically, you could say that Majora's Mask was Ocarina of Time in G Major. Which means it's really, really creepy. The ambience and the mood made up from the soundtrack (at most times it's soemthing scary, distorted, freaky, or plain-out insane) and the antagonism. Not to mention some of the enemies are Pinkie-Pie-style coming out of nowhere and scaring the crap out of you. But, that's what made the game awesome. The intensity, the suspense, the eeriness, and the fast pace of the game mixed with classic elements of the Zelda franchsie make it, in my opinon, one of the Top 10 Nintendo 64 games ever. In fact, this is EXACTLY what the wise Pinkie said once, sometimes, it's fun to be scared! (Hm...I think a lot of my posts here are TL;DR-ish)
  4. Hm...I'm starting to think that this thread needs a NSFW tag if not already.... EDIT: I actually just wanna say I deleted my vote and change it to "yes" because I've thought about it, and I've seen that I am a bit more attracted (platonic of course) to them as I thought I would. As long as its nothing too "strong", it's alright with me. Out of all of them though, the ones that I don't find really attractive is Rarity...cause isn't she like supposed to be the most "glamorous" pony of the mane 6? It's just wierd..
  5. Mmmmmm, Blueberry Muffins are my absolute favorite! I just want to reach through my iPad screen and nom em up! ^^ Were they delicious?
  6. D'awwww! X) SHUT UP AND TAKE MAI BITS!!¡¡!¡!!¡
  7. Lol, wasn't talking about the gameplay, I was talking about the art style. The characters and landscapes in the game all looked like beautiful art. It can get confusing when there's a 3D game with polygonal models based off of 2D characters. The transition may be a bit awkward compared to the intended perspective in the show and its artwork.
  8. Ehrrr, they're a liiiitle bit getting to me attractive-wise. Why that concerns me is that I'm worried that I'll turn into one the....cloppers....*shudder* D:
  9. The antagonists of a show or series franchise's motives, personality, and purpose can change instantly, and sometimes the result is shocking. For instance, up till Ocarina of Time (1998), the antagonists of the Legend of Zelda were your typical villain, with the simple purpose of doing whatever they want without having the protagonist(s) getting in the way. But, in Majora's Mask (2000), the antagonist, the semi-titular Majora, takes control of an innocent spirit who's been emotionally depressed and abandoned from his friends for playing tricks on them. Majora uses the innocent spirit and the power within the mask (Majora's Mask) to gravitationally force the moon (THE moon. And it has a freaky scary face on it that can be hard to keep a straight look at it.) to violently crash onto an innocent town if the protagonist doesn't stop it within 3 days. Majora is insane enough to kill everyone on the planet including himself. Now, compare THAT with merely just wanting to take over the land and rule it with evil.
  10. Banned of being omniprescent in the 2nd dimension. (if you know what I mean)
  11. Welcome! From only two days of being here, I can tell you that this is the best place for Bronies to meet! Hope you enjoy your stay!
  12. I think flimflam means Cupcakes....O_o Dash, if you didn't read it yet, please DON'T! D: And, also, what's your favorite food? :3

    The Last Brony

Hm...I think this ties with the "Would You Watch G5 Ponies" thread.....so accordingly is G5 is what MLP used to be, then it would probably lose a very very important part of its audience.....but it was never meant to be for us....I'm sad. :,(
  14. It's one of Hasbro's most successful franchises. It's demographic has really changed, but it has gotten much popular withint the last two years. Who knows what the franchise be like after all of this happened? I just hope it won't be G1-3 all over again....but it would be a confusing as heck transition....
  15. 7/10 You ok there, Cadance? LOL EDIT: 8/10 That's a nice clean drawing of Vinyl you got there. It's a light wisp-y thingy. Thanks. I don't want to get too involved with my OC here yet, so he's just there for the time being.

    Ask Applejack!

So, AJ....do you ever find yourself jealous of RD, do you have a competitive relationship with her, or are you 100% friends?
  17. Hey Dash. (darn I didn't prepare a question! D:) Hm.....so how fast do you know you can fly? And how does it feel like..? (...*facehoof* could've come up with better questions for my fav. pony )
  18. I grew up around the early-to-mid 2000s (I...think that is G3?), and it was when boys and girls saw each opposite with describing words as "ew" or "gross" or "cooties!" XD Boy, that sure changed. I don't think we really had any girls bring MLP toys to the school as much as Bratz and Barbie. I just remember hearing the MLP theme song over and over and over when I was watching CN or Nick. 0-0 Ugh....adequate memories...
  19. This would be a very good idea for Hasbro, marketing-wise, depending on how they make it. First of all, it would have to, obviously, have conveying elements similar to those in the show: not too mature, not too "girly". So it obviously wouldn't be an action or fighting game. I think it should be something like a Sandbox where you're in a free-to-roam Equestria. There should be things such as missions you could do based on the abilities and traits of each of the mane 6 (possibly should be the only playables in the game). It could be missions that lead to learning lessons about the magic of friendship, as in the show. Also, I like the idea of there being mini-games and sub-quests for fun. Hm....thought I had more in mind, but let's just hope they do something like this. Anyways, I'm most MOST concerned about how the 2D-purpose style of the show could fit in a 3D game. I would like to see how they transition Equestria into a polygonal world, sort of like the cel-shaded masterpiece that is the Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker. The 3D models looked like 2D artwork. Yeah, all of that would be awesome. As for the systems and development, I would say a go ahead for the mane 3 consoles (get it?!), the 360, Wii, and PS3, once again for the broad audience. I have doubts for a Vita version for some reason...a 3DS version, I'd say hold it for a while because it still isn't 100% console-quality when it comes to the polygons. All in all, the 3D effect would be cool. But if there IS a 3DS version, Celestis forbid it be a simple port. I hate it when they port games, it's just like a lazy copy! Let's get Activision to do this, if anyone, they usually make Hasbro games. And they're good, too. The console version of Transformers 1 is a very great game!
  20. How did you become a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic? I have been an avid Internet user for a a while. I was fer familiar with Internet memes, and constantly stumbled upon MLP-related images all the time. After a short time of my friend telling me how good it was, I decided to watch the pilot episode one night, and I was easily hooked. What do you enjoy most about the show? Almost too many things to list. The animation is revolutionary- it's smoother, more colorful, more simple, than today's cartoons, and is the absolute best work in a cartoon I've seen in a while. The deep story provides an interesting legacy and inspirations for the fanbase. The ambience, as well as the show in general make it entertaining for people of all ages, but signifcantly balanced for both in ways that reach out to each group (little children and 15-40 year olds) respectively in ways that are easily understood. Do you participate in the MLP:FIM fandom? If so, in what way(s)? What do you enjoy most about the fandom? Not really, sometimes I "roleplay", in which participants take part in an improv-like story that is made up as it goes. They play as their characters, each with as much history and personality as the characters in the show. I enjoy the random because it's a wide group. And certainly unusual for My Little Pony. I'm very happy for the franchsie and hope that the success and interaction between the people who make the show and bronies continues to multiply in the future. Who is your favorite pony, and why? What are this pony’s best characteristics? My favorite pony in the whole entire show is Rainbow Dash, who is one of the "Mane 6" characters. She is a very likeable mare. She is eager for any type of athletic action. She is very good at her species' unique ability, flying (she is a Pegasus). She is very, very loyal to her friends, and especially to the Princess of Equestria. She is very capable of being in charge of a very large an organized group. Do other people in your (offline) life know that you like MLP? If so, how have they reacted? The only person I know that knows that I'm a brony is the friend that got me interested in the show in the first place. I'm happy that there's at least one real-life person I can talk to the show about, though. Do you do anything MLP-related besides watch the show? No, I've never been interested/involved in the franchise, except watch it grow among Hasbro's other best, such as Transfomers. I just never expected something like the fan breakout to happen to MLP! Has watching MLP:FIM or participating in the fandom changed you or your relationships in any way? If so, how? It has changed my life, and the way I see the cartoon industry, as well as its future. The emotions that are triggered she nwatchign it, it's like an art, and it should take it's place among the greatest in the history of television. Being a Brony gave me the biggest feeling of "what I have been missing" since I became a Legend of Zelda fan during the summer of 2011. Why do you think MLP:FIM has attracted a Brony fan base? Because the show in general is perfect for all ages. Little children of course, as it is basically a show about ponies. Just about any show like that nowadays anyone like that would watch. Now the unusual fanbase, because of the aspects of the show. Amazing chacrater development, great storyline, jaw-dropping animation, everything that cartoons had in their glory days, in my opinion from the mid-to-late 90s to the mid 2000's. Not to mention that they sneak in things like inside jokes, adult humor, and pop culture references that the Brony fanbase can understand and further enjoy their experience. Is being an MLP:FIM fan a singular thing in your life or are there other things (shows, activities) you’re involved in that are related? I am a attracted to and follow video games and auto racing in a way similar to Friendship is Magic. It's like a magnet, things like Super Mario Bros. and NASCAR pull you in the instant you realize it's something you want to adore for the rest of your life. It's like love at first sight! In related words, I follow the Zelda franchsie with it's recurring aspects, amazing quality, and an ever-expansive story like I do with MLP. How do you identify yourself? white, American, boy, straight, 15-y-o
  21. Lauren unfortunately moved on at the beginning of Season 2... :,( She's currently working on new projects. Anyways, I'm most shocked though from the fact that the show has gotten progressively better, plus the S2 finale to top it all off.
  22. It is, it is! Even better, the creator happened to be none other than Mrs. Lauren Faust, who had major interaction with two of my childhood shows, The PowerPuff Girls, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Both have quality that is MLP-tier.
  23. Also, the term brony comes from something that has to do with where it all started on 4chan. The term coming from "bro" is an incorrect fact. So technically, I think "brony" refers to fans both male and female.
