  1. 1. Absolutely true. Spartan Locke had 12 missions overall, 3 of which were 5 minutes long and involved just walking up to characters and talking to them. I'm all for exploration levels, but other than the data pads there's really nothing else to do other than just talk to someone and start the next mission. I can understand Spartan Locke having more missions than Chief since the story revolves a little more around him this time, but I would've preferred to make those 3 levels Master Chief levels, making him have 6 missions and giving Spartan Locke 9, so It's at least a little fairer. 2. I actually don't mind Spartan Locke as a character. He's interesting, just not as interesting as Master Chief unfortunately. He plays exactly like Master Chief, he just looks different, so I don't see a problem there. 3. I never really noticed any graphical errors so I can't comment on that, though I've run into the occasional bug where I fell through a mountain. 4.I love Halo 5's multiplayer. It feels great to play, even when I'm losing. The maps are all fun and cool to run around in too. 5. I'm not the kind of person to immediately shun a game's microtransaction system without giving it a chance first, but I have to agree with you here. Halo 5's REQ system is horribly done and purposely manipulated for people to spend as much money as possible. It's simply not a fair system. Well, sounds like a pain in the ass, but It'll be a fun pain in the ass I guess XD I... I can't decide! I've used all the characters a fair amount in all the games, and they're all so 20% cooler!
  2. Cool. I only play Slayer personally, and I rather enjoyed Halo Wars. Never played Reach though. Must have been really cool to get to make a school project using something you like.
  3. Yeah, to be honest the only complaints I have about Halo 5 is the short story (though decently written), and how they're handling microtransactions. Everything else is pretty sound. By the way, is the extra scene for the Legendary ending worth it? I wanna know it's worth the hassle before trying to get it myself. That... Is awesome! Here, have a digital cookie. I like call of duty, but it's just never original anymore, and with IW it's really hitting a downward spiral. That's why I'm not buying the next one. I'll stick to Overwatch, Battlefield and of course Halo. I never played Reach but I actually kinda liked Wars. Never watched the movies, I hear they were rather disappointing, and Ive not seen Red vs. Blue either.
  4. I actually keep my age a secret on every forum EXCEPT this one. See, people who aren't familiar with the brony community or are just paranoid in general tend to do that sort of thing as a method of protection. I do it on other sites because if you don't and end up getting into an argument (which doesn't happen often thankfully) they can't make fun of my age. The fandom here is really nice though, so I have no problem showing it here. Plus, this place has strict rules and can deal with the nastier ponies efficiently.
  5. Nah, I don't think she's British. I live in England myself, and trust me, not all of us sound all posh and stuff (hell, I've been told I sound American from time to time). And since when has Rarity been ashamed of her origins? It IS a plausible theory though, I'll give it that.
  6. This is why I don't watch the teasers. I only watch the trailer, get hyped and then try to contain my excitement while waiting. I don't wanna spoil the movie too much while I'm waiting. The annoying thing is though, Hasbro seems to have some ad thing going on with Youtube I guess, so now when I watch MLP videos, there's always a pop-up for an LOE teaser in the corner near the end, which the title of the clip ALONE spoiled something for me. I'm glad for certain villains returning, but I would have preferred to have seen it in the movie without knowing beforehand to get a better effect. Hell, I don't think this is just a problem for EG, but for movies in general. There's always some reveal of a character at the end of a trailer or some kind of flashy clip in the middle that would have been better kept secret to impact on the audience.
  7. "I... I'm not even gonna question that..." I added. Applejack looked over to the red stallion. "Oh, this is Big Mac. One of the best on Sweet Apple Acres right now. He's been spending time teaching Apple Bloom to buck recently. I've been trying to help, but, well with all these stampedes going on It's pretty hard."
  8. "Not usually, but the animals have been acting REAL strange around these parts lately. It's a little crazy. Nice to meet ya! I don't wanna brag, but I'm the best hard working earth pony you'll find this side of Equestria. You enjoying Ponyville so far?" Applejack asked.
  9. I don't think I'd do it honestly. Don't get me wrong, having 10,000 bucks (which translates to even more in my currency) would be great, but I'd prefer to keep my dignity. I am a closet brony after all...
  10. Sounds neat, maybe I'll try my hand at TF2 again one day.
  11. Well, technically they didn't kill off Cortana, she actually returned in Halo 5, having cured her rampancy. (Yes I know It's spoilers, but the game's been out since last year, I think people know already.). Is there seriously no couch co-op? That sucks... Whoa, you must be really good with Half Life... I don't think It's the Source game engine though. For example I suck at Half-Life but I'm amazing at Portal, you can't really assume It's the engine.
  12. I was just wondering if anyone on this site is a fan of the Halo series, just for the hell of it, ya know. Maybe we can share our experiences or talk about which game is best, whether there's gonna be a Halo 6 etc. So I know I'm a little late, since it came out last year and It's been sitting on my shelf ever since then, but yesterday I finally got around to playing Halo 5... And finished it on the same day. It honestly feels like the game is way too short, and then they decided to pull a Mass Effect 3 and keep us entertained with a great story throughout only to leave us with a lackluster ending. Yet, funny story, even though I've played all 5 games in the series, Halo 5 is the only one I've managed to beat so far. But really, so many questions were left unanswered. What's Cortana gonna do next? How is the spaceship supposed to get away from her, and how the hell do they expect to fight the guardians? Then it just sorta ends there. Maybe It's because I played on normal and you need to play on Legendary to get a super secret ending or something, but I'm not sure... So, what do you guys think?
  13. "I'm sure they'll have it fixed in like a week or so. Just a crack, accidents happen. Anyway, I wonder who that mysterious orange pony with the hat is..." I shrugged, trotting over to her. "Hi miss, uh...". "It's Applejack. Say, I ain't seen you around these parts before. Guess you moved in huh? Pinkie's probably already shown you around the place, so there's not much else ah can do for ya. Feel free to come by the barn any time." she replied.
  14. A lot of what happened next wasn't clear. There was an orange blur followed by the sound of a "YEEHAH!" and the swing of a rope. Rushing outside to see what was going on, the town was calming down, breathing a sigh of relief as the tough orange, cowboy hat wearing pony led the stampede away from Ponyville.
  15. "Hey, at least you don't have to go to work!" I chuckled. I started doing some stretches and yawned while shaking my tail. Rubbing my hooves across my eyes, I opened the door and left Sugarcube corner, you following closely behind. As we got out, we started to hear some strange noises. "Hey, you hear that? It kinda sounds like a-" Before I could finish another pony nearby took the word right out of my mouth. "STAMPEDE!"
  16. I smiled, hearing your snoring as I decided to get some shut eye myself. I looked out of the window to the moon. Something told me my time here was gonna be something special, and that whatever happens... It'll all be OK in the end. Feeling tired, I yawned and softly closed my eyes. (no problem)
  17. "You need to lighten up. We'll find a way back, and even if we don't, this could be a pretty fun experience. It's like Pinkie said, laughter, man. She's a little annoying, yeah, but at least she means well. We haven't met a single bad pony here. Besides, It's not like they'd believe we're from Earth anyway, we can just keep our mouth's shut and we'll be fine." I explained.
  18. "You're welcome to stay at Sugarcube Corner for the night if you want!" Pinkie Pie offered. "Your party'll have to wait til tomorrow, you look exhausted!" she giggled. "So, anything else you need?". We shrugged. "Guess not. Can we take a look in the corner?" I asked. Pinkie nodded.
  19. "It's simple... Before I came to town this place was so gloomy and depressing. I felt it was my duty to put a smile on everypony's face. It's hard to imagine life without laughter!" Pinkie Pie answered. For a few seconds, her eyes glowed, making us jump in surprise. We turned to each other and looked in confusion. "What?" Pinkie Pie asked.
  20. Pinkie Pie shook your hoof then mine. "OK, lemme show you around..." she beamed. It took about an hour or so, but Pinkie Pie made sure we knew where everything was, what it was for, who it was for, and who everyone. It sounded ridiculous when she first said it, but it was true. She literally knows EVERYPONY in town, even that cranky donkey who doesn't seem to talk much.
  21. After Pinkie Pie led the Parasprites out of town, she hopped over to us. "Hi! I've never seen you two around before! You must be new here! I'm Pinkie Pie! What are your names? Oh, never mind, you can tell me later! Oh hey, we should totally have a party to celebrate your arrival! Oh, but you must be so lost! How about I show you around town?" she chattered, rattling off words like a machine gun. "Whoa, slow down there... But actually, you hit the nail on the head." I shrugged.
  22. Why are people posting We Happy Few trailers all over the place in this thread? I don't get... Wha? (Head explodes)
  23. "What are you talking about?" I asked, hiding my emotions. We soon made our way over to Sugarcube Corner, where we heard what seemed like a one man band. Or in this case, a one mare band. Pinkie Pie came out of the store with a bunch of weird looking blobs with eyes, seemingly leading them out of town.
  24. "You'll find her at Sugarcube Corner. Just head backwards from here until you reach Ponyville, you can't miss it. Look for the house that looks like It's made out of candy. Or you'll find her just bouncing around town. Pinkie's just random that way." Fluttershy explained. We nodded and started walking away. Before I left I approached Fluttershy and spoke to her. "Um, mind if I come back here later?". Fluttershy nodded. "Sure."
