  1. It's been, like, a year or two since I made this forum, and I've barely used this site until recently. Apologies, I forgot I was the one that made this. And yeah, I could totally see that Granny Smith death being a thing...if they didn't cover basically the exact same thing in Tanks For The Memories.
  2. Literally none of those at all sound like they belong to an MLP episode except Tirek, Grogar, and maybe Chrysalis. Do any of you even watch the show?
  3. I think some of you are forgetting MLP is geared primarily towards children, and children don't exactly do well with graphic death scenes. The likelihood of a main character getting killed off in MLP is very small.
  4. I....think I should talk with the girl that volunteered to make the picture..
  5. Right. Well, all of those are valid criticisms. I was thinking about somewhat re-working his profile anyway, thanks for the criticism! Although I had no control over the appearance on the picture, as someone made it for me and they stuck it there without my knowledge until they showed me the finished project. Same thing with the Cloudsdale background, it was too late to either change the background or change him into a Pegasus, so I had to rack my brains for an explanation as to how he ended up there.
  6. "I'm much better now, thanks.." Zen offered a small smile and a light sniffle to signify that while she was over all the crying, she was still hurting. ------------------------------------------------------ "Yeah, and I reeeeaaalllly don't wanna go down as the first pony in history to accidentally create a new religion. That'd get me in whole heaps of trouble." Deadpan explained, "Mostly with my roleplayer." he added.
  7. "Yes, the griffons do seem to be ahead of us.." Zen mumbled, shaking her head to clear her thoughts before going to follow the griffons. ------------------------------------------------ "I also think I'd give 'em existential crisis after existential crisis, but hey, maybe I'm wrong." Deadpan chuckled, it seemed he was back to his usual self.
  8. "Thank you, Null, it is quite apparent you haven't had much experience helping ponies yet you still at the very least attempted. That is very commendable of you." Zen sniffled, offering a small smile. -------------------------------------------- "Eeyup. It's what got me fired from being a Kindergarten teacher actually. Used to make the kids depressed." Deadpan chuckled, "That's a lie. I never taught Kindergarten."
  9. "Thank you, Null, I do truly thank you...Even if you don't have experience comforting people." Zen didn't have to read Null's mind to figure that out, the way she spoke was enough to show that. But Zen still appreciated the effort. -------------------------------- 'Eh, none that I personally believe in. Unless you count the kinda bleak outlook of us just being puppets for some sick creatures' amusement." Deadpan shrugged, "But that's too heavy, even for me."
  10. "Thank you Null, I do appreciate the effort...and, you're right. Nopony should have to go through what I did..." Zen let out a shaky sigh, "That is what lead me to the Monastery..." --------------------------------- "...Nah, humans ain't real." Deadpan whistled, not wanting to get into another debate over that topic.
  11. "Plus, it's actually real." Deadpan grinned mischievously. ----------------------------------- ".....My family....My entire village was slaughtered by Changelings....Every single one...Filly, Foal, Stallion, Mare...I was the only survivor..." Zen blurted out suddenly, though she wasn't stupid enough to say it loud enough for Phyrus to hear, only Null.
  12. "...Well, I apologize. I did not know that.." Zen whispered back, then quickly walked over to Phyrus and put a hoof on....where his shoulder would be if he was a human. "I...know what it's like to lose the people you love...the only difference here is..." Zen let out a shaky sigh, "I know they're all dead..." ---------------------------------- "Can't blame a guy for tryin' to lighten the mood, though, right?"
  13. "Y-Yes, I'm quite alright, thank you Florence...though I must ask if you're uncle is well. He looks rather upset." Zen frowned, "And I do apologize for my outburst. That was...truly unlike me. I assume it was the negative emotions overloading me and the traumatic memories.." --------------------------- "No thanks, the person roleplayin' as me wants to keep us as far out from the main storyline as possible. I'm a comic relief character, after all." Deadpan let out a small chuckle.
  14. "...Not...Not just one...Three...and...they weren't in the hospital. I felt their life forces flow into nature....Those poor ponies...So please...show some respect...for their sake..." Zen mumbled, the 'past' she spoke of clearly resurfacing in memory form, and it was clearly taking its toll. "...I know what its like to lose family..." --------------------------- "Wonder what's got her so upset.." Deadpan murmured.
  15. "Ponies died, and you're talking about how stupid they were." Zen snapped yet again, "Yes, measures could have been taken to prevent this from happening. No, this isn't the first time this town's been attacked. But from what I've heard, this is the first time people have lost their lives! So stop being insensitive jerks and CARE ABOUT SOMEPONY ELSE FOR A CHANGE!" Zen stood, panting, glad to finally have gotten that off her chest. Though she was still frowning. ------------------- "Yeah, that's why I'm doin' it.." he smiled, before his eyes widened..."Woah, somepony's angry...I heard her shouting all the way over here."
  16. ""H-Hey, what kinda comedian would I be if I broke down crying..?" Deadpan gave a sad, forced chuckle, "Besides, she loved my smile and my sense of humor. I wanna give her somethin' good to look at up in the afterlife." ----------------------------------------------------- "Well sorry Ponyville isn't exactly guarded like the Canterlot castle." Zen uncharacteristically snapped, it seems the negative emotions running through the air have already taken their toll on Zen's attitude, that much is obvious.
  17. "If I'm attacked, I do my best to attack back the least amount of times as possible unless my life depended on it. I know how violence can negatively affect other creatures.." Zen sighed and looked down at the ground, referring to the...'incident' in her past Null has yet to know about. She then looked up at Florence and put on her best smile, "It's quite alright, Florence." ----------------------- "Y-Yeah, okay, I'm fine with that..." Deadpan mumbled, already on the verge of crying again.
  18. "Yeah...that'd be a great idea." Deadpan sniffled, "What do we do after all this?" ------------------ "I would never attack an innocent person unless I was tricked or brainwashed! And even then, I very rarely physically attack!" Zen frowned, looking...oddly almost betrayed over the implication she'd attack someone.
  19. "Y-Yeah, I think I'm good doin' that.." Deadpan sighed, his eyes showing a sadness that will probably never fade. ---------------------------------------------------------- "....I'm coming with you." Zen stated bluntly, her face stern. Quite frankly, even Zen herself was a little surprised that she did that, but she was sent here to help, and this poor griffon clearly needed it more than anyone, in her eyes at least.
  20. "Yeah, yeah, I think I'll be good..." Deadpan nodded, his voice more...hollow than the light-hearted jovial pony he was before the mess. If there was one thing that could be taken out of this, its that he certainly wasn't the same pony. ---------------------------------- "Ah, my apologies then, Null.. Well, what do we do now?" Zen asked, looking around absent mindedly.
  21. "Are...there still any gardens here? Those were her favorite place to be, so it makes sense she'd rest there while we worked on the raft.." Deadpan explained, looking like he was already about to start crying again. -------------------------------- "Yes. anti-magic is a rather...peculiar thing, but it has its uses. Such as this." Zen mumbled softly.
  22. "Sorry for the hassle.." Deadpan apologized, "I know I'm being super picky here, but I want to uphold tradition as best as possible. But yeah, that river's where they normally do it." ----------------------- "Y-Yes, I apologize...I....I don't know what came over me. I'm generally not that...confrontational. Phylus, I offer my sincerest apologies. I believe the overall negativity around this area because of whatever happened is messing with my emotions..." Zen mumbled, wiping her tears away.
  23. "Nah, they aren't supposed to sink." Deadpan explained, "From what she told me they're supposed to just...keep floating. It's weird, I'll admit, but it's what they do. So, I wanna honor that the best I can." ------------------------------- "I...I...there has to be a way we can resolve this peacefully!" Zen stomped her hoof, "If you 'make an example out of them' as you put it, that quite frankly makes you just as bad as them!" Right now, tears were rolling down Zen's face. She couldn't say why, as she didn't exactly know, all she did know was...something had triggered it. If she had to take a guess, she'd probably wager on the generally negative atmosphere.
  24. "Sir, honestly, even if they did you wrong revenge is not the best way to deal with that! I won't argue what they did is horrible and they should be punished, but in the least violent manner possible. Like, a lifetime of jail!" Zen suggested, raising her voice slightly. ------------------------------------ "Ehhh, kinda. 'Cept they never light anything on fire, and its a raft. Not a warship. Its like...a buncha logs tied together. And yeah, we really should. Luckily the couch is somehow perfectly in tact and they loved that thing.." he smiled sadly at the couch
  25. "Thank youz2" Deadpan grinned, "Be sure to come to my next show! I do small gigs now!" "Thank you for the publicity! We really do owe you, Ms. Crystal! We owe you an incredible amount, actually!" Zen waved. "You're welcome to come back any time, always remember that!"
