  4. Sometimes negative feelings like anger and regret can be energizing, and can push us to make changes in our lives that ultimately lead to clearer skies ahead. But that's not to say that there aren't plenty of emotions that closely tie in to happiness.
  5. I'm paranoid and overly anxious. Not to ridiculous, debilitating extremes, but I can't say it's easy being me. I'm also very critical of myself.
  6. I've lived in the Denver metropolitan area in Colorado for my entire life. Currently going to college about an hour and a half away from home, so still pretty much in the same general area. I really do love it here, so I don't plan on moving out of state, unless it's to someplace nearby like Wyoming.
  7. He's no longer active here, but I'd say @Aurelleah would be considered the most well-known Poniverse member within the fandom as a whole.
  8. I would probably end up turning to food for comfort. I could never abandon it completely. I would stick to it as long as I can afford it. I just might cut back quite a bit in order to help lose some of the weight that I have put on during college (assuming diet still contributes to that sort of thing).
  9. Yes. There's a girl I met online a few months ago and initially we broke up because of personal stuff on her end that prevented her from really being able to trust someone... but soon after, we started talking again and ended up getting back together because she wants to work on her personal problems and she thinks that having me in her life is helpful in that regard because I've been through some similar stuff and I can empathize a lot with her. Also... she is my age, but she is a mother. I don't judge her for that at all. And her 3 year old daughter adores me (seriously, cutest kid ever).
  10. It's so sad to see Furniture Row go. They were my hometown team for about 12 years, with guys like Kenny Wallace, Joe Nemechek, Regan Smith, and Kurt Busch rotating in and out before their golden age with Truex and Erik Jones. For most of their history, they really weren't the slightest bit successful. But it felt cool knowing that there was a team from Denver out there. I remember going bananas when Regan Smith won the Southern 500 in the 78.
  11. I've messed up my sleep schedule so much over the past month that I typically don't fall asleep until 6 am.
  12. At this point, it's fair to say that Twilight has surpassed her idol in many ways. I can't imagine Starswirl having anything to teach her at this point.
  13. I have a bad singing voice so I can't imagine ever doing that. I have friends who are into musical theatre, and they sing in public all the time. Sometimes I may just hum a little tune to myself, though.
  14. It seems like every time I'm really craving something from Chick-Fil-A, it's Sunday. I've never actually gone there on Sunday only to have reality slap me in the face, though.
  15. There are fanfics with alternate universes that have just about every premise imaginable. Some of them just have one little change, like a romantic pairing that isn't canon, and some switch character genders around to play with how different things would be. Some of them have massive changes where something big in Equestrian history happened differently, like one in which Rainbow Dash became Celestia's student instead of Twilight. And of course, there's a particularly famous fic that has this premise:
  16. "We're over $10 million in debt, but at least we have a nice looking bear."
  17. I feel a fair bit of regret, because years ago when I was an immature 14 year old, I was one of them. Other than that, though? I'm not out to pick a fight. They can continue to spout excrement from their mouth and/or keyboard, but they aren't going to get a reaction out of me.
  18. When I was a little kid, I thought a hurricane was a giant monster that blew wind really hard. I also recall, for much of my childhood, believing that the black seeds in a watermelon are poisonous.
