    The first two books of The Chronicles of Narnia to be published (The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian), suggest that the Pevensie siblings were the only humans in the world of Narnia after the reign of the White Witch, until the Telmarines accidentally found a portal to Narnia and conquered it. However, The Horse and His Boy (the fifth book to be published) reveals that there were sizeable human populations in the countries of Archenland and Calormen during the Pevensies' reign. Which begs the question... did those people exist during the White Witch's reign? And if so, did they ever attempt to defeat the tyrant? The Magician's Nephew tells us that some humans stayed in the world of Narnia after its creation and founded the kingdom of Archenland. What happened to their descendants? How did Calormen appear in the first place? Weird retcon here; I wish THAHB wasn't canon (even though it's a good story on its own).

    I'm a part of the (likely) small minority that thinks You Only Live Twice is the best James Bond movie. To me, it's the definitive Sean Connery performance. And Connery is best Bond actor, hands down.

    Has anybody here participated in NaNoWriMo before?

    I've been considering it for years but I let time constraints from school get in the way. This year, I want to force myself to make time for this because I have a really cool story in mind and I'm not gonna let this one go to waste.

      No, I haven't. I feel the idea is really interesting and I've thought of writing something, but such a tight schedule wouldn't work for me.

      But if you feel you want to write one, good luck! :) I'm sure it will be quite an interesting experience!

    I'd request that she pay for the damages that aren't covered by insurance. Derpy has a good heart; I feel like if she wanted to make it up to me, she would honestly try if it meant I didn't have to take her to court.

    I swear I did too O_o I'm 5'6, just like @King of Canterlot, @Olly, and @PiratePony. Most of my real life friends are taller.

    My current boss gets on my nerves quite a bit. She tells me something should be done a certain way, but then a week later she berates me for doing what she originally told me. She doesn't know how to allocate labor in her department, which leaves me doing a two- or even three-person job alone more often than not. And then she places all the blame on me when I can't get everything done before closing. Thank goodness this is only a summer job, because I think I'd snap if I had to deal with this for any longer than a few months.

    I'd like to think I look like a young Ewan McGregor (think Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Phantom Menace), except with glasses. But only when I have my hair cut real short. Kinda like @SnekEater above.

    I hate real-life violence outside of self-defense. And even then, I would personally try to find an alternative to violent self-defense. I consider myself a pacifist. But fictional violence doesn't bother me at all as long as the gore (if any) isn't overdone.

    There's one medication I take that sometimes gives me bad heartburn if I don't swallow enough water with it. But otherwise I have never really had any problems.

    Rarity turns evil twice in the comics. when generosity turns to envy and insecurity, Rarity's evil self is actually quite believable. And I could never see Pinkie Pie truly becoming evil. She may find herself in an extremely bad psychological state if she feels rejected by her friends, but she would never truly take revenge on anypony for doing that. The murderous Pinkie Pie of creepypastas just isn't believable.

    I feel like it's a bad idea to mess with something connected to the interdimentional Limbo without having a very good idea of the magic behind it. See Mirror Magic when Juniper Montage's mirror (that has trapped the Mane 7) almost breaks.

    Hello!! I've got... mixed emotions. I'm a fair bit annoyed by a few folks here but I'm not gonna elaborate because I don't want the WPCC to get caught up in the mess. Other than that, though, I had a nice relaxing day off work. It was much needed. Currently sitting down and doing some writing because it has been way too long!

    Absolutely nothing pony-related even compares to this one. Other MLP forums are pretty much dead. As for other forums... ehh, lots of them have some pretty toxic people. When in doubt, just go to Reddit because the community is massive, though the drawback is that there aren't many ways to personalize your profile. And the subreddit communities can sometimes get too big for people who want to make friends along with discussing common interests.
