    Is Rainbow Dash more popular than the "main character" Twilight Sparkle in the eyes of the fandom?*

    *Twilight is the main character even in this ensemble cast driven show. (At least in Season 1.)

      to be honest i doubt anyone can get actual numbers, being more people's favorite pony doesn't make you more popular necesarily, you have to have a poll with top 10 or something and then give points depending on which place one is, that way you also take into acount when one isn't many people's top pony but appears the top spots consistently

      That list is quite surprising. :o Most of the top ponies are about where I'd expect, but the positions of Rarity, Celestia and Discord aren't what I expected (Rarity being a lot lower and the other two higher than I'd have thought). Nice to see Pinkie so high, though! :)
