    My history with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic began somewhere around January 20-26, 2013.
     I remember I was watching a bunch of Epic Meal Time videos on Youtube when I saw the video "Epic Pie Time" by Silly Filly Studios 
    in my suggested videos section.
     
     I'd known about the FiM fandom from seeing signatures & avatars on other sites but this is the first time I had seen it "in the wild". 
    "Oh, why not," I thought to myself "This might be funny." so I clicked on the video and hoped for the best. 
     
    I remember being shocked by the colorful language & thinking "Is this a parody of a My Little Pony or is this real!?" 
    Now, I was on the hunt for the pilot to see if it was as over the top as the video I had just watched had led me to believe & after some searching I finally found it.
     
    As I sat down to watch the Friendship is Magic two parter a name popped up during the theme song that I recoginzed "Lauren Faust",
    a name I was familiar with but was also unfamiliar with at the same time. (I'm not a Powerpuff Girls or Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends fan.)
     
    Seeing Lauren Faust's name made me nervous but I kept watching hoping that maybe this wouldn't be like her husband Craig McKraken's previous cartoons
    that primarily focused on silly comedy.
     
    Fast forward to the end of the two part pilot where my initial reaction was "That was pretty meh." & feeling that I didn't think that I would continue watching the series. 
     
    A while later, I kept thinking "I should give it another try, maybe I'm missing something." to the point where I was arguing with myself over whether or not
    I should watch episode 3. 
     
    Finally, I gave in to my self-doubt & watched "The Ticket Master" which, I ended up enjoying a lot more than the pilot because it was a more of a slice of life/comedic
    story instead of an action adventure story. 
     
    "The Ticket Master" was the episode that hooked me & that caused me to catch up/binge watch the entire series up until the newest episode at the time
    "Just For Sidekicks" ("Games Ponies Play" was just a couple of days away at that point.).
     
    And so ends my history of how I became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Thank You SO MUCH for taking the time to read this awful mess.

    Ducklemma: Being A Disney Duck on a My Little Pony Forum
    I've gone through many avatars over the past five years or so,
    I've been a pony, a unicorn cat, a harlequin & even a human with long glowing hair but the avatar I have been constantly returning to over the last few months is that of a
    duck in a bomber jacket. 
     
    I don't know what it is about Disney ducks that I love so much, my favorite Disney TV hero is a duck, my favorite Disney TV heroine is a duck & even my favorite member of
    Walt Disney's main group of five is in fact, Donald Duck. 
     
    Could it be that I just find the design of the anthropomorphic duck appealing? Possibly. 
    Could it be that I think the "dueling pianos" scene between Donald and Daffy Duck from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" is one of the coolest things I've ever seen? Yeah! 
     
    But the trouble I find myself in sometimes is this little voice in my head telling me to change my avatar to somepony like Rarity or to go try and make an OC of my own
    as a way of showing solidarity & being "one of the gang". 
     
    Then, I snap out of it and think "Hey, I'm a duck and if that makes me happy who cares how someone else feels about my non-pony avatar?" 
     
    The moral of this rant is to be proud of who you are (As long as it isn't hurting anyone.) & don't do something just because everyone else is.

    2. Her generosity. 
     3. Her accent and singing voice. 
     
    3. Her relationship with Equestria Girls Applejack.  RariJack five-ever! 
    4. Her relationship with Sweetie Belle. 
    5. Her classic freak outs! 
     
    6. She reminds me of @Cistbiscuit (Dreambiscuit).

    Now, I know you're probably thinking: "Sparklefan's favorite Disney Princess movie soundtrack isn't Tangled!?" and while this is true, it isn't for the reason that
    you may be thinking of. 
     
    While Tangled might have an adorkable lead and an exciting story, one thing that doesn't really interest me is the songs on Tangled's official movie soundtrack.
     
    Granted, Tangled does have "When Will My Life Begin?" but aside from that there isn't much else that I find myself listening to very often,
    besides "Kingdom Dance" aka the lantern festival sequence which is my favorite part of the entire film. 
     
    The Little Mermaid on the other hand, hooked me () right from the start with "Fathoms Below" and continued bringing such Disney classics as: 
    "Part of Your World", "Under the Sea", "Poor Unfortunate Souls" and of course my favorite song on the Little Mermaid soundtrack "Kiss the Girl". 
     
    I'm not a music critic by any means, but there is just something about Little Mermaid's soundtrack that stands out to me when comparing it to other classic Disney musicals
    like Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast and Frozen.

    I picked one funny moment per show because otherwise this would be a very long list also, these are the moments I didn't have to think about. 
     
    1. "Cherrychanga Or Chimicherry?" from  the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episode "The Last Roundup". 
     
     
     
    2. "Finding Richard's Groove" From the Unikitty! episode "Dancer Danger".

    Here are my Top 5 Sunset Shimmer Moments:
     
    1. Sunset Shimmer standing on two hooves and walking around after while a confused Starlight Glimmer looks on from "Equestria Girls: Mirror Magic".
    2. Sunset Shimmer helping out Fluttershy in the Youtube short "Opening Night". 
    3. Sunset Shimmer singing to help save the day in "Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks". 
    4. Sunset Shimmer's escalating frustration whie playing her video game in the Youtube short "Game Stream". 
    5. Sunset Shimmer's excitement over meeting the crew instead of the band in the "How to Backstage" Youtube short.

    1. Magical Mystery Cure: My first major event as a member of the Friendship is Magic fandom where my favorite character achieved the highest honor in her land. 
    2. Amending Fences: This gets better and better the more I watch it! The emotional moments are great & the the use of past events is a clever way to build the story. 
    3. It's About Time: An episode about a situation we all find ourselves in at one point in our lives. A great lesson with a funny set-up. 
    4. A Canterlot Wedding Parts 1&2: TWILIGHT SPARKLE DIDN'T (Need to) LEARN ANYTHING! SHE WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG! 
    5. Twilight's Kingdom: *Charlton Heston voice* YOU BLEW IT UP! 
    6. Gauntlet of Fire/Friendship University: Hey, "RariTwi" her name is part of it. 
    7. MMMystery on the Friendship Express: Twilight Sparkle is Best Watson & her detective hat is adorkable. 
    8. Sparkle's Seven: Twilight Sparkle wants to get a crown she could easily make herself. Hilarity ensues. 
     9. Winter Wrap Up: Everyone matters. At least that's what I got from it. 
     10. Lesson Zero:
    This is the episode when Twilight Sparkle became my favorite pony. It also used to be my favorite but I got tired of the Cutie Mark Crusaders scene making me cringe. 

    Honorable Mention (For a moment, not the special itself.):
    Equestria Girls: Spring Breakdown: Princess Twilight Sparkle and Human Twilight Sparkle *finally* interacted.

    Top 3 Equestria Girls Movies
     
    Equestria Girls: Friendship Games: Sci-Twi is introduced as an adorkably awkward loner who I just want to hug & say "Everything will be ok.".   Equestria Girls: The one that started it all. I may be in the minority but I thought Sunset Shimmer had a lot more of a personality as a villain.  Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks: The songs = AWESOME, The Dazzlings = AMAZING, Sunset Shimmer's character arc = INSPIRING what more can I say?   
    Top 3 Equestria Girls Youtube Shorts
    Pinkie Sitting: Adorable. Simple as that.  Five to Nine: Applejack singing is ALWAYS AWESOME to me & I think this song is really catchy.  Opening Night: Canterlot High puts on a school play. I don't know why but I really like this series.   
    Top 3 Equestria Girls Specials
    Equestria Girls: Forgotten Friendship: No one remembers who Sunset Shimmer is & that makes for an excellent story, IMO.  Equestria Girls: Sunset's Backstage Pass: Sunset Shimmer is stuck in a time loop & Pinkie Pie is obnoxious. Hilarity ensues.  Equestria Girls: Rollercoaster of Friendship: RariJack is made canon, IMO & that alone earns it a spot on this list.

    I've made a lot of great friendships and memories here in my almost decade on MLP Forums and I can't thank everypony enough
    for their friendship, kindness and support during my time here.

    The One Thing I Think Gen 5 Did Better Than Friendship is Magic
    I think that the friendship between the characters in G5 is more realistic than FiM.
    FiM's Mane 6 was formed because of Celestia's behind the scenes shenanigans while G5 had Sunny Starscout meeting friends she already knew
    like, Sprout and Hitch Trailblazer or because of things that happened naturally like Izzy Moonbow visiting Maretime Bay because she had Sunny's letter.

    Posting banners, signatures and other types of artwork. 
     
    Talking about wrestling with @Denim&Venöm and @TheRockARooster. 
     
    Participating in the DuckTales RP with @ExplosionMare, @Clawdeen and @Totally Sunny.
     
    Being in the "Musketeers of Friendship" with @ExplosionMare and @Clawdeen.

    Talking to @Dark Qiviut and nodding even though I don't know what he's talking about 99.9% of the time. JK. 
     
    Joking around with @Kyoshi about SpongeBob and pizza while also asking for signature advice sometimes. 
     
    But the thing that makes me the HAPPIEST OF ALL is when someone tells me that I've made their day. This is my purpose on MLP Forums and I'm proud to be able to do it.

    What Inspires Me To Make Signatures And Profile Banners?
    @Treeglow Flicker  and @ExplosionMare want to know what inspires me to make the signatures and profile banners that flood your notifications on a daily basis.
     
    I make my Rapunzel, Della Duck and MLP signatures and profile banners to help keep the memories of my favorite characters alive. 
     
    Sometimes I make things for friends, I post them on MLPF for praise and I use DeviantArt as a glorified backup.

    You can call her Venomous or you can call her @Bakugou is my Man but I prefer to call this particular MLP Forum staff member my Best Admin Friend For Five-ever.
    Sure it's cool that I can ask Ven for help if I have a problem, but my favorite thing about our friendship is when I'm able to make her smile or laugh and brighten up her day. 
    I  particularly like it when she visits my profile so I can jokingly act surprised and give her a Best Forum Friend For Five-ever hug. 
    Venomous is one of the kindest, most helpful people on this forum and I have a great deal of admiration for the work she does to keep everything in order. 
     
    Plus, her favorite pony is Applejack so that's like one million awesome points! 
     
    YOU ROCK, VEN! KEEP BEING AWESOME!

    Why Blitzo Is My Best Friend On MLP Forums
    @Blitzo aka Operetta is one of the many users who I'm honored to call one of my Best Forum Friends For Five-ever here on MLP Forums. 
    She's kind, funny, smart and is one of the only people here who began referring to me as her BFFFF without me having to encourage it. 
    Operetta is an AWESOME friend and anyone should be lucky to have her in their circle just like I do.

    @ChB was my "Best Friend Five-ever" long before "Gift of the Maud Pie" was even an idea. 
    He's an AWESOME friend, a nonjudgemental listener and someone that I know I can always turn to when I need an honest opinion. 
     
    ChB and I have been friends for about as long as he's been a member of MLPF, we've shared laughs, smiles and serious moments together and through it all I have
    gained more respect for him over the years than I ever could have imagined. 
     
    I like to call ChB "Crystal-heart-Brony" but the truth is, that sponge pony has a heart of gold.
