      I want to say that they're pretty equal in ability.  Although I think Celestia would have a bit of an edge over Luna.

      Celestia was losing to Nightmare moon, the elements of harmony helped her defeat her, it was not her powers, but on the other hand, she was probably holding back, knowing it's her sister while Luna didn't, since she was consumed by NmM, i think they were evenly matched
