    People, stop.

    I have found the word I didn't know I was looking for my entire life.

    It's 'paraprosdokian'.

    Sure, it doesn't look like much (except in terms of character count), but its definition is what truly resonates with me.

    It basically means 'a sentence that ends in an unexpected way'.

    Paraprosdokians are one of my top three favourite types of humour, right up there with 'irony' and 'Sir Terry Pratchett', even though I never knew what the word for such witticisms were until today.
