      I'd never even heard of Justin Bieber until three years after he became famous.

      By then, of course, everyone had moved on to One Direction, which I only learnt about by the time everyone had moved on to someone else again (Rhianna or some other momentarily-famous singer whose name I can't remember for the life of me), so it serves as something of a textbook illustration of the futility of me trying to keep up with modern trends. :unsure:
