      The fact that Bohemian Rhapsody has the word 'scaramouch' in it means the lyricist was either a genius or absolutely raving mad. Not that they're mutually exclusive, of course.

      Scaramouch is indeed the name of that clown, but the name has become associated with the character trope that the clown was typified as exhibiting.
