  1. Today I met a 1.5-inch cockroach.

    I pulverised it, tearing off half its thorax in the process, and left it for dead in the bin.

    Checked up on it two hours later to find that it had regained enough motor control to edge its way across to the edge of the bin and cling on even as I tried to scrape it up to finish it off.

    Took three point-blank headshots with a custom hardened-rubber Nerf round until it stopped twitching.

    I'm beginning to consider installing artillery turrets.

      Update: I went back to check on its corpse a second time and it had started feebly trying to crawl around again.

      It took another five shots to the head before it stopped twitching.

      Mostly because it was half-decapitated by that time.

      In case anyone's started to doubt the effectiveness of my firepower, I encountered a 0.75-inch specimen of roach-hood in my laundry room in the meantime and literally blew its body to pieces with a single distance-shot.

      You cruel, violent fiend! I wanted to make a Roach-flavored Pancake with that!!

      @Widdershins

      It's still mostly intact, so you can have it if you want.
