      The small circle rolls around inside the big circle.

      There is a dot on the small circle.

      When the small circle rolls, the dot makes a pointy shape.

      Look at the pointy shape.

      This shape is called a hypocycloid.

      There are many different kinds of hypocycloid.

      This hypocycloid has three points.

      There are hypocycloids with four points, five points, six points, and even more!

      When you put all these hypocycloids together, they can roll around inside each other.
