  1. Help them out with their homework when they needed it. Yeah, I don't really get out much. How interesting is your middle name?
  2. This thread is literally only three posts long (well, four, now). This tragic state of affairs has touched my heart. You don't deserve this level of snobbery, Yume. As such, I have taken it upon myself to interrogate you from now on. Expect your ask thread to devolve into a Q&A session with yours truly, with the occasional guest appearance from other users. To what extent are paperclips essential to your day-to-day life? What do you normally keep in your pockets? If you were building a house for you to live in 20 years in the future, what shape would you make the roof, and why? What is the culture you would most like to live in, from any country in the world?
  3. I saw this inset halfway up a storage room door at my generic-tertiary-study-institution, in one of the Faculty of Engineering buildings. It's behind a sheet of three-millimeter custom-installed plastic, so it's certainly not there for no reason, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I Googled the text, and it doesn't appear to be a line from a poem, which was my first and only guess as to its significance.

Does anyone have the slightest clue what this even is?

      I have absolutely NO idea.

Not the most minute modicum of an inkling.

Perhaps it's just a professor being random.

My tertiary institution is in no way rich or affluent, so the professor in question would've had to custom-install this thing on their own budget. On a storage room door. In a niche off to the side of the main corridor. With tens of metres between it and the nearest professor's office. With a glaring typo.

This is so much weirder than any of those creepy urban mysteries that wannabe conspiracy theorists debate the reliability of on Twitter. Because there seems to be absolutely no logical explanation.

I'm tempted to post this all over the place, see if anyone in my area knows someone who knows someone who installed this on the behest of a psychic to keep vengeful ghosts out of the premises.

  4. I must ask you, where did you get that ridiculously adorable profile pic?

Just spent ten minutes failing to find it on Google Images. ^_^

click on Search Google For This Image, then it will find every image of it in different resolutions.

I did that, but all I got was every image of it in different resolutions.

I was hoping to find the artist responsible for such critical levels of kyoot and trawl their art for similar pics. :P

I was trying to do the same, because that's how you usally find them. My guess is the person who made it removed it from their portfolio, or they never had one to begin with.

The biggest resolution on Google is this one, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the picture might also be a cropped version of a larger picture that's still out there somewhere. It's very unusual for such a high-quality piece of MLP fanart to have so few results when searched up.

  6. Greetings, mortal! All shall fall before our unified might. Truly, you are a valuable asset to our organisation, even in your infancy. Especially due to your Coloradonian citizenship. Dictatorships like that tend to be hard to infiltrate, even for such an influential political entity as ourselves; your insider knowledge will likely prove invaluable in coming months. We welcome you, o acolyte of the pony. I am more than willing to assist in your training, if questions you may have. Enjoy your time spent as our diabolical minion!
  7. COVFEFE IS THAT YOU???!?!?!?!

I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND YOU SINCE YOU DROPPED OFF THE GRID BY CHANGING YOUR IDENTITY!!!!!!

Speaking of which, I may have just blown your deep cover. Sorry about that.

In which case, this is awkward...

YOU KNOW WE ARE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER

  8. I was homeschooled since just after kindergarten; I only started school again when I was 14 (Form 6/Year 12). My school friends were insanely extroverted, I tell you. I meant real and verified factual historical events that weren't faked by the Illuminati. What are your thoughts on flat-earth conspiracy theorists? What are your thoughts on Einstein (the person, not his theories)? What are your thoughts on [insert random celebrity here]? What are your thoughts on [insert random person you've met at some point in your life]?
  9. Greetings, mortal! All shall fall before our unified might. Truly, you are a valuable asset to our organisation, even in your infancy. Especially due to your satisfactory levels of hype over the MLP Movie. Could do with a few more choreographed pompom-wavers, though. We welcome you, o acolyte of the pony. I am more than willing to assist in your training, if questions you may have. Enjoy your time spent as our diabolical minion!
  10. 9/10. Regular user. Anywhere that isn't the Forum Games section, pretty much. My post-brohoof ratio kinda says it all.
  11. Everyone makes mistakes in their English every now and then, and I've seen some people for whom English is their first language who just absolutely shred grammar and spelling. No-one's gonna laugh at you for making a minor language error, because you're better at typed English than many born English speakers, and no-one calls them out on their mistakes.
  12. That's actually exactly what I'm hoping for, too. As soon as they announced that Discord wasn't gonna be in the movie, I was like, 'plzplzplzplzplzplzplzhazbromakehimbeinthecreditsorsomethingi'llloveyouforeverandstuffjustdothisonethinggggg~'.
  13. 4/10. Haven't seen you around much at all.
  14. If they omitted Discord entirely and relegated Starlight Glimmer to a likely mere background role, then I doubt there's going to be much focus on the princesses (besides Twilight, of course). This seems like a Mane Six Plus Brand-New Characters sort of movie; not so much emphasis on the classic elements of the show.
  15. I haven't really been 'caught' at anything, per se, my family's pretty chill, so I never really tried to hide it from them. Although my parents did give me the Season 4 boxset for my birthday recently, while all my friendswhoI'vetactfullyavoidedmentioningponiesaroundsinceforever were watching, but they didn't seem to think it much of a deal (although there was a lot of 'aww! that's so kyoot!'ing ). Whoa. Teach us your ways, o senpai.
  16. The animation is a stunningly cinematic rendering of the show's style, the characters are colourful and interesting, and the background art is just next-level. I haven't been so hyped for anything ever, I don't think. This. Looks. Amazing.
  17. Those figurines shall belong to me. Unless the theatres around where I live don't have them. In which case I will implement the most logical option and burn them all to the ground in protest. But after I watch the movie.
  18. That used to be the case for me, but I think attending school when I was younger really brought me out of my shell. Most of the kids around where I lived were extreme extroverts, and they welcomed me - literally in some cases - with open arms. Plus, my church is almost like a home away from home - I grew up with everyone there, so they're effectively family -, so that helped as well in coaxing me into socialising. No 'alea jacta est', 'veni vidi vici', 'quod erat demonstrandum', 'ipso facto', or anything like that? Spouting Latin phrases at random during conversations is pretty much the easiest - not to mention funnest - way to sound smart. It is very interesting. It gives the impression of abstractness, even though it only depicts easily recognisable things in a realistic style. What's your favourite historical event? What's the oldest/smelliest/mouldiest piece of food you've ever found behind a piece of furniture? What is your current opinion of yourself? How has your opinion of yourself changed over the course of your life?
  19. Pixel games. It seems that, when people don't have the option of hiding their games' flaws behind layers of hyperrealistic graphics, the game itself improves in quality. That and I'm a devoted minimalist.
