      Shrove Tuesday shifts around depending on the year because it's celebrated a set number of days before Easter, which in turn shifts around depending on the year because its date is set in an old-school lunisolar calendar (similar to that used by the Jews), not the solar Gregorian calendar that we predominantly use nowadays, and accurate date-conversion to our modern calendar means that it has to shift around from year to year.

         Hmm, does make sense. I've seen many other holidays shift around a matter of days. Be it same date, different day.

      Waaait... so you're saying I have the Jews to thank for my National Pancake Day?... I fail to comprehend why anyhuman would ever hate them for any reason. They seem to be just the best ever people in all regards as far as I can tell!

       Though, think Anti-Sememememtarianism is mostly a big joke these days anyhow.

    Scene: Me lying in bed at night minding my own business.

    Cat jumps onto my bed and saunters up to my pillow, being petted by yours truly every step of the way in the hope that he'd snuggle up with me for the night.

    Cat proceeds to sit on my face.

    Cat proceeds to continue doing so for the next ten minutes.

    Cat proceeds to become bored with sitting on my face and jumps off my bed, leaving me with a mouth full of tail-fur and a suspicion that my cat has elevated disdain for humankind into a martial art.

      That's my cat in a nutshell. I gave up on allowing her to come in my room at night because I just couldn't sleep with her walking all over me and sitting on my face. :P If she would just snuggle up next to me and be still, then I would let her sleep in my bed.

    Nah, he just slept for half a day and revived completely. Designed to stop kids from running down the school halls. Ah, good old Matthew 6:34. One of my favourites too. Almost makes you wonder whether it was coincidence. . . Would you rather have a mattress, a pillow, or a blanket as your sole bedding while sleeping on the streets because you're a hobo? Thoughts on face-paint? What is the most organised part of your life? What's the greatest electrical current that has ever passed through any part of your body?

    @Skylord Nexus has a character for later introduction, @reader8363 and @Biohazarddallas (and @Arid_Blitz and I, of course) have already posted their intro post, @Mentis Soliloquy and @woodchunks66 don't have any teachers (we're focussing on teacher/staff intros at the moment, so they don't have to post if they prefer to wait), so all that leaves is you and @Denim&Venom. TL;DR: Half of us have already posted, half of the remaining half are more than entitled to wait until the rest of the teachers/staff are posted, and half of the remaining half is you.
