  1. The cost of not having any friends is having no 1 to help you nor care about you. If I could succeed on my own, I'd be fine. Succeeding alone is too difficult without friends

      I used to live stream Smash Bros Melee with a friend for months and we brought my EPsilon933 Twitch account to about 390 followers before we stopped playing anymore because I quit Melee, including quitting all of my friendships. Streaming alone isn't entertaining and none of my exfriends are in any position to interact with me in person ever again because they play Melee which demands all of their commitment. That's the specific situation I'm in

      That's not really good friendships then if they relied solely on one interest :P . But think of friendships and other people as a compliment to you. However, they are not a part of you.       I quit Melee because I didn't have any good friendships there. The tournament scene was growing in popularity but changing in ways I didn't agree with, so I left.
