  1. Food Because if you don't eat it, you die
  2. I love every showoffy thing I do in games. It's so much fun ^.^ And my abs ♥♥
  3. https://68.media.tumblr.com/8a65462955fa673a093c67682645e93b/tumblr_ok6b5uNkWu1r3mfzpo1_1280.png This is just a status too long to post on Twitter I don’t really like my subscriber base on Youtube which is mainly occupied by Melee players. I’ve always had disloyalty throughout my channel’s history and ever since 1 month before I quit Melee (April 11, 2016), it has almost never gained a subscriber on any day. No 1 appreciated the (amount of) work I put towards Melee, relatively speaking. It’s not absolutely 0, but compared to the other channels that grow ultra fast in the community, I’ve always felt that I unfairly never got the same success others had, even despite my earlier start on as far back as January 3, 2009. But Youtube is a game almost purely about luck and I’m just 1 of the many (or few) lottery losers who bought too many tickets But I’d still rather have my freedom playing PC FPSs than any amount of fame I’ve ever had playing Melee. It was never much. My record subs/day was 66 because I bought them for $50 during the Melee for EVO 2013 donation drive contest. My 2nd best record is only 29 in 1 day. http://socialblade.com/youtube/user/ghostrager at 1 point averaged 713 daily. The game, the community, and the work have caused me an unbelievable amount of stress and several online people who knew me outside of Melee could clearly see that I needed to quit. Sometimes I need a healthy vent Youtube statistics, June 26, 2007 - April 10, 2016
  4. Going win, tie, win in competitive CSGO with online friends and trolling. We were laughing too much XD
  5. I know. Where were the screams of rage and hype? No 1 appreciated nor hated what I just did
  6. I never listen to music ever. People have weird responses when I tell them that. I don't even like listening to the radio while driving
  7. I clutched in CSGO, 2v7 then 1v4, I got 6 of the last kills. 3 seconds were left on the timer. Hopefully I can advertise it on a CSGO subreddit to get famous for a few minutes ^.^
  8. The news is just a form of entertainment. Why waste time learning about things that usually don't affect you?

  10. Good thing that people are allowed to refund games. NMS is 1 of the most refunded games ever Your medicine argument doesn't apply to games. Back then, the internet didn't even exist, so bad news from consumers couldn't get widespread anywhere nearly as quickly as today Most retail games cost $60. Sure there might be $10 worth in gas and tax to get the games, but also mentioning $100+ as a cost parents pay for their kids? Are they smart enough to buy the DLC too? Probably not. Kids aren't asking their parents for early access games for birthday and Christmas presents. They mainly/only know about mainstream games like COD, BF, Madden, and Fifa. I don't lurk what little kids think, but I have a friend who has a 12 year old son who watches Youtube and has heard about all the bashing COD IW gets, so maybe reputation bashing can get to them too. This is anecdotal evidence I'm only pointing out. It has no statistical value If you buy a cake and end up eating rat poison, you could easily sue the bakery for $10,000s. It only takes common sense to realize that your analogy contains a blatantly illegal scenario Wait, a lot of game marketing is done through text? For the longest time, I thought games were marketed heavily through videos these days Reputations are so important in businesses. Have you even heard about COD's diminishing sales? It used to be the an amazingly well selling series. Now it's an absolute joke because the past 4 CODs so far have been disasters. That series is entering life support because the community criticized the last 4 game's qualities on Youtube and on internet forums. If someone gets caught off guard on COD, LOL. Even a 12 year old that I know knows how much of a joke it is now
  11. From forums and youtubers, the community Also, companies can't legally pay someone to give a good review. There are loopholes, like removing ads for bad reviews though. Just clearing up possible misconceptions No, companies can't lie to their consumers, due to laws about false advertising. This applies to objectively measurable claims, like sales numbers. Subjective things like how fun something is can't be measured I don't know anything about fake movie trailers since I don't watch movies. But similarly, there used to be a lot of trailers and commercials of prerecorded 'action' shown off in the gaming industry too, which didn't reflect the final product of the game. Reviewers and high profile youtubers called game companies out on this, causing them to slow down or even stop showing off prerended cinematics. Their commercials even show short messages to indicate when actual gameplay is on screen How can a consumer be apathetic about a product if they're excited to buy it? Game companies already have enough motivation to deliver their final products. It's merely the market at work. Businesses need good reputations to survive. If they don't deliver, people will talk badly about them and they'll get less sales. More rules don't need to get added because every problem is already solvable. If there's some company you don't like, go ahead and truthfully shame them to reduce the sales they get and their time they get to stay in business Stop blaming companies for being good at marketing if you're stupid enough to keep getting hyped about products you've disliked in the past. Learn that these things they're trying to sell are things you don't like and stop buying them. It takes nothing beyond common sense. How profitable and prevalent is early access anyways? It seems kind of rare to me. I'd like to read numbers
  12. Why not be a smart customer and wait until a week or so for people to discuss the game so you can learn if a game looks good or bad? Companies want their customers excited about new products. It's stupid for anyone trying to sell anything to not make their stuff exciting
  13. Isn't false advertising already illegal? If someone gets caught and takes them to court, it's an easy win if they have the time and money to get the law involved Early release is just a business strategy. If the consumers don't like it, they won't buy it. There are enjoyable games that are early release yet haven't even been completed yet with no sign that they actually will. This is just me being a possibly stupid opinionated consumer, but I'd rather have Black Mesa incomplete than not have it and keep my $20 Early release gets plenty of shame. If an idiot throws away money on a bad game, that's their fault for not doing any research. If an early release game is good and someone buys it, that's the consumer's benefit
  14. Game developers/publishers don't need regulations. The market is already good enough. If something sucks, people will share stories about it, especially youtubers with 1,000,000+ subscribers, and if they say bad things about someone/something, that's going to hurt a company's reputation. And if something's awesome, people are going to talk well about it. Bad stories get shared more often and more widespread
  15. I'd think about the good things I've done for other people in this world
  16. TED Talks used to be a really legit channel. But lately, too many SJWs have been speaking about useless race/sex baiting crap and they've even started disabling comments and (dis)likes because criticizing those ideas is too evil to allow. Censorship > freedom of speech, am I right? Where's their bravery to stand up strong with their ideologies? I subscribed to Leafy back when he had 28,000 subscribers. Back then he shared a lot of interesting, funny stories, but then sometime after he reached 100,000 subscribers, his content quality dropped like a rock and all he started doing was cringe reaction videos. Sometimes he'll still make a really good video, but it's too infrequent for me to stay subscribed to
  17. How long have you been a brony? Ever since either June 16, 2012, when I started watching the show, or June 21, 2012, when I finished watching season 1 Why did you first start watching MLP? Because an online friend tried to make me watch it and I consented to torture ^.^ What drew you to the brony community? They're supportive How do you participate and or contribute to the community? Nope Who is your favourite pony? 1. Starlight Glimmer (2. Maud Pie 3. THE GREAT & POWERFUL TRiXiE, 4. Princess Celstia)
  18. I'm ultra late to this thread. I'm only saying my brainless opinion PC gaming has its perks. It's expensive, don't lie, but the quality that platform presents is great to play on (higher resolutions, frame rates, better controllers (M&KB for FPSs and RTSs), higher quality and more durable parts, customizability, convenience of having a gaming system and a PC in 1 box, free online play, it's the main system for esports, and backwards comparability to as far back as probably DOOM (at least on Steam)) PC master race is just tribalism and arrogance, but it's also just a meme. It's not something to take seriously
  19. Just to introduce my channel, I'm a funny moment video uploader formerly for Smash Bros Melee and currently for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. I made a famous Melee video called "It Takes Guts to be AMAZING" and I currently have 4,425 subscribers. Want to see what I've done? CSGO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=909DWGdw-tU&list=UUtu4yuaEIBcYYMnZie43sfQ SSBM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dj_54hAA3f0&list=PUtu4yuaEIBcYYMnZie43sfQ
  20. Poison If you play fighting games and you say anyone who isn't him/her/it, you're lying
  21. This is just to help put social pressure on me to help me not forget to hit record when I'm playing games that I want to make funny moment videos of. I need social facilitation to help improve what I do. Typing up a blog about this mistake helps ingrain it in my mind better to help me remember. I can't show you the epic things that didn't get recorded because they didn't, but for fun, he's what I missed being able to show everyone T on Mirage 5 consecutive AWP kills in a 10 second span CT on Mirage Flash bang + decoy + smoke + P90 distraction kill, took the T's AK, ran to T spawn, kinfed an AFKer, ran to middle with AK ablaze, killed 2 Ts, picked up an AWP, ball banged a T through the carriage T on Dust2 Sniping in mid with SSG + P250, notice a CT run into tunnels, chase after him, attempts to knife him, allies kill him 1st, funny stare at the killer, run out of tunnels, got killed by CT in cat T on Mirage 1v3, low health, bomb in mid, holding a FAMAS, gets 2 kills, gets spotted at A site, runs to B site, plants with 8 seconds remaining, guards the bomb, CTs kick their stupid saver 1 second before the bomb explodes I know there's 1 more funny moment that I can't recall right now I'm a funny multiplayer gaming moment uploader on Youtube and all of my moments are purely unstaged. Everything happens naturally and it's impossible for me to recreate these things. Even if I could, they'll lose their authenticity which is 1 of the main things about my moments. At least I wasn't an idiot throughout the entire day. I played a lot of CSGO this morning and got some decent footage. I hope I never make this mistake again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpBATx6sWZg
  22. Every Smash Bros Melee channel I've ever subscribed to. Melee isn't what it used to be anymore and it's not something I can enjoy anymore I have subscribed to a few gaming channels that made some interesting videos, but then their later videos were just dumb. The worst of which is probably CultOfMush who makes 5 minute advertisements ever week. That's just really dumb. I'm already seeing ads
